123 2nd Avenue N. 615-730-7381. The third location of this clothing store which also has locations in New Orleans and Memphis. Muse sells apparel and accessories for men and women. Hours are Mon - Sat, 10 am to 6 pm and Sun, noon to 5 pm.

Nashville Fashion Week: Industry Panels

THURSDAY, MARCH 22
LOCATION: FRIST CENTER FOR THE VISUAL ARTS FREE; DONATIONS ENCOURAGED

Attend industry panels during Nashville Fashion Week. Producing the Goods (10 am - 11:30 am), What Makes a Brand? (1 pm - 2:30 pm), and Southern Fashion Show (3 pm - 4:30 pm). Admission is free, tickets can be obtained online.

 

2012 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Soccer Matches

THURSDAY, MARCH 22; SATURDAY, MARCH 24; MONDAY, MARCH 26
LOCATION: LP FIELD $20 - $225

The U.S. men's national soccer team (under 23) will match up against Cuba on Thursday, March 22 (at 8 pm), Canada on Saturday, March 24 (at 6 pm), and El Salvador on Monday, March 26 (at 8 pm). The teams from Canada, Cuba and El Salvador will also play against each team in this championship. Enjoy doubleheader games each day. Click here for the complete schedule. This championship hosted by U.S. Soccer is a qualifying round for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

 

World Water Day: 3rd Annual Nashville Water Walk

THURSDAY, MARCH 22, 6 PM - 7 PM
LOCATION: SCHERMERHORN SYMPHONY CENTER FREE

Walk a mile in their shoes. Meet at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center's plaza at 6 pm. The group will walk to the Cumberland River, gather water, and return to the plaza. Bring your own container to gather water. Water walks like this are scheduled throughout the country on March 22. They are based on the recognition that every day thousands of young Africans must hike miles each day just for access to water, water that isn't even safe to drink.

BACHanalia: See Bach City!

FRIDAY, MARCH 23, 5 PM - 11 PM
LOCATION: CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL FREE

Christ Church Cathedral celebrates the genius and mastery of Johann Sebastian Bach at the sixth annual BACHanalia, a six-hour marathon music festival. Music begins at 5 pm and continues non-stop until 11 pm. Studio musicians, Nashville Symphony musicians, university faculty and students, and church musicians all contribute to this festive evening. They will perform a wide variety of Bach's masterpieces in expected and unexpected ways – everything from harp to marimba, organ to voice, jazz ensembles to harpsichord, and more. Drop in to this free event for a few minutes or a few hours.


2012 Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival Sakura Walk

SATURDAY, MARCH 24, 9 AM - 10 AM
LOCATION: PUBLIC SQUARE FREE

Led by Mayor Karl Dean and Consul General of Japan Hiroshi Sato, the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival Sakura Walk's 2.5 mile course begins and ends in the Public Square. Commemorative t-shirts, food and drinks will be available. No registration required.


2012 Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival

LOCATION: PUBLIC SQUARE FREE

The 2012 Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival is a family-friendly celebration of Japanese culture. Events, entertainment, and activities include a musical showcase, tea ceremony, origami, a CosPlay contest, Japanese food booths and more! Cherry blossoms, or sakura, have been a symbol of the U.S.-Japan friendship since the Mayor of Tokyo donated 3,000 cherry trees to Washington, D.C. in 1912. This year marks the centennial celebration of this gift to our nation's capital.


Cirque de Nash

SATURDAY, MARCH 24, 8 PM
LOCATION: AVENUE $40 SINGLES; $75 COUPLES

The inaugural Cirque de Nash is a masquerade ball (think Lady Gaga meets George Clinton meets Alice in Wonderland). Partygoers are encouraged to wear a costume that reflects their innermost creative alter egos – and the more outlandish, the better. Live funk music will be provided by Jones World and the party will start with music by DJs from the Chicago School of Bass. Proceeds from this event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.


Nashville Fashion Week: Runway Show & Closing Night Party

SATURDAY, MARCH 24, 7:30 PM - 10 PM
LOCATION: THE PINNACLE AT SYMPHONY PLACE $75 FOR THE NIGHT; $350 ALL ACCESS PASS

The closing night fashion show of Nashville Fashion Week features designs by Randi Rahm, Sylvia Heisel, Jamie and the Jones, Kal Rieman and Magid Bernard. Plus, a closing night party for ticket holders of the night's fashion show and All Access pass holders. The closing party will be held from 10 pm - 11:30 pm.

 

Daddy Daughter Date

SUNDAY, MARCH 25, NOON - 5 PM
LOCATION: THE MELTING POT ADULTS: $34; AGES 12-16: $24; UNDER 12: $18

A three-course dinner featuring a cheese fondue, entree and chocolate fondue. Plus, a choice of mocktail for the daughters. This offer is available from noon to 5 pm.


Community Hymn Sing

Your chance to sing the great hymns with the Nashville Symphony! Join the orchestra and The Nashville Choir at this popular annual event, and lend your voice to some of the most inspiring songs ever written. Special guests leading the sing-along include Michael W. Smith, rising gospel star Marcia Ware, Randy Travis and the dynamic vocal group Committed, winners of NBC’s The Sing-Off.
