The 2010 Great Nashville Duck Race is a duck derby benefiting over 3,500 youth served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. This family-friendly event includes a kids' zone, entertainment and food. At 1 pm over 10,000 rubber ducks will be dropped from the Korean War Veterans' Memorial Bridge and will race down the Cumberland River. The lucky duck reaching the finish line first will win $10,000 in cash!
Additional prizes for the winning "ducks" are: four luxury suite tickets to the Nashville Super-speedway, four-player round of golf at The Golf Club of Tennessee, an Oreck Halo Vacuum Cleaner, Nashville Predators tickets and more!
Rubber ducks are available for adoption for $5 a duck. Other adoption opportunities include: A six QUACK for $25; QUACKER'S dozen (13) for $50; and a FLOCK of ducks (25) for $100.
