Downtown Y Renovation
The newly expanded Wellness Center at the Downtown YMCA opened this week with four times the space of the previous facility. In addition to the latest in cardio and strength training equipment, the center includes a Cardio Cinema Studio, group fitness studios, core exercise/stretching areas and an elevated indoor running track.

 

New Nightclub - Mai!

Antiques & Garden Show

Hours are Thurs 10 am - 7 pm, Fri 10 am - 8 pm, Sat 10 am - 7 pm and Sun, 11 am - 5 pm. Featuring over 150 international and domestic dealers exhibiting porcelain, silver, oriental rugs, jewelry, paintings, furniture and more. Additionally, horticulture booths featuring architectural elements for the home and the garden.

 

Music City Soul Series

Baeder on Baeder: Dishing on Diners

A film screening of the new documentary "Pleasant Journeys and Good Eats along the Way" which follows John Baeder's artistic journey. The screening will be followed by a question and answer session with Baeder and filmaker Curt Hahn. John Baeder's exhibition with the same name is currently on display at the museum. Additionally, the State Museum will be open from 6 - 9 pm for the First Saturday Gallery Crawl.

 

First Saturday Gallery Crawl

Sat, Feb 7. Various locations. 6 - 9 pm. Free. Art galleries throughout downtown host receptions and art openings on the first Saturday of every month. Zeitgeist at Terrazzo

Opening reception in three galleries on the 5th floor.  Zeitgeist presents a five-month series of "Art in Open Spaces at Terrazzo."
