National Start! Walking Day

Wed, Apr 8. Today is the American Heart Association's National Start! Walking Day. Get out and walk downtown. Tons of great vistas when walking Bicentennial Mall, Riverfront Park and the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge. Other ideas include changing a standard meeting to a walking meeting and walking to your favorite place for happy hour.

Live Taping of CMT's "Can You Duet"

Join as an audience member for this live television show taping and great country music performances. CMT's Lance Smith hosts and Naomi Judd returns as a judge. Puppy Prep and ESL-K9

ESL-K9 teaches dogs 4 months and older the basics: sit, stay, give, etc. plus polite leash walking, behavior management and more. $120 for six classes. Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Puppy Prep is for dogs 4 months and younger and includes training similar to "ESL-K9". Offered on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. $120 for six classes. Socialization and play time included.
