Barbershop Harmony Society's 70th Anniversary Celebration

Fri, Apr 11. Barbershop Harmony Society. 110 7th Avenue North. 823-3993. 10 am. Free. The Society will mark its historic 70th Anniversary on April 11 with the grand opening of the Harmony Marketplace retail gift shop and with the unveiling of the thirty by twenty-six foot reproduction of Norman Rockwell's The Saturday Evening Post Barbershop Quartet illustration. This mural is on the Commerce Street side of the headquarters building. The work will be unveiled on Friday at 10 am. Mayor Karl Dean will be in attendance and will make the official proclamation commemorating Barbershop Harmony Week.

 

5th Annual Nashville On The Rocks

Sample a variety of premium brand spirits including whiskey, rum, vodka, and tequila samples, straight up or in a mix. Home Tour Tickets On Sale

 

The 5th annual Live it Up! Downtown Home Tour is Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 from noon to 5 pm. 22 properties will be on display. Tickets are $10 for a one-day pass or $15 for a two-day pass. Tickets are on sale now online and at various locations around Nashville including the Nashville Downtown Partnership (Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm), the Nashville Civic Design Center (Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 5 pm), The Arts Company (Tues - Sat, 10 am - 5 pm), and Village Real Estate Services' Downtown Office (Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm).
