6th Annual LIVE IT UP! Downtown Home Tour

Sun, Apr 19. Private residences, model units, and sales centers around downtown. $10. Noon - 6 pm. Gather home decor ideas, see amazing views, and get an idea of what it would be like to live in downtown Nashville.

 

Purchase tickets the day of from the BIG tent in Church Street Park (corner of 6th & Church, across from the library). Cash or check only. Or in advance online (with a credit/debit card).

 

An assortment of private residences, model units, sales centers, rental and purchase units, plus rooftop decks will be on display. It is a self-guided tour. The home tour website features general tour information, free parking info, and more. When you purchase your ticket, you will receive a tour magazine and map which will help you plan your route.

Always...Patsy Cline

The popular bio-musical based on the life of Patsy Cline returns to the Ryman and to the stage where the country music legend rose to fame. The production features the story of a friendship formed between Cline and one of her fans, Louise Seger.

 

State of the Art: Contemporary Lecture Series featuring Andrea Zittel
Thurs, Apr 16. Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Auditorium. 909 Broadway. 244-3340. 6:30 pm. Free. Andrea Zittel shares her perspective on current issues and ideas in contemporary art. Part artist, architect, environmentalist, crafter, engineer, and designer, Zittel conducts experiments that simplify the everyday tasks of our lives.

6th Annual Nashville On The Rocks

Sample a variety of premium brand spirits including whiskey, rum, vodka, and tequila samples, straight up or in a mix. Miss Marple's Dinner Theatre

Nashville Opera presents Puccini's La Bohème

2nd Annual First Baptist Church Arts Festival

Local and regional artists will depict the theme "Forgiveness" during this second annual juried art exhibition and sale at First Baptist Nashville. Pastor Frank Lewis' sermon on Sunday, April 19 will also be on the theme "Forgiveness."

Rhinestone-Studded Ribbon-Cutting Grand Opening Ceremony

Grand Ole Opry legend Little Jimmy Dickens will cut a ceremonial rhinestone-studded ribbon designed by Manuel at 10 am. Green is the New Black Organic Wine Tasting

Call for Volunteers!

 

Next week tens of thousands of runners, walkers and joggers will hit the streets of Music City for the 10th Annual Country Music Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. Volunteers are needed to help with the Health and Fitness Expo and the race Start Line. The Health and Fitness Expo is on Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24 (volunteers are especially needed during the afternoon shifts). Race day is Saturday, April 25.
