Downtown is OPEN! Music City is open! Only a few restaurants, bars and retailers remain closed after the devastating floods of May 1 - 3, 2010. Please use this online list to see which businesses remain closed. If a downtown business is not on the list, that means they are OPEN and it is business as usual.
Limited road closures are still in place including 1st Avenue from Church to Broadway; 2nd Avenue South from Broadway to Molloy Street; 3rd Avenue South from Broadway to Molloy Street; and Demonbreun from 4th Avenue S. to 1st Avenue S. Click here for a map of road closures. Please note these closures change almost daily.

Jerry Seinfeld, one of America's premier comedians, is donating all proceeds from Friday night's show to Nashville flood relief. Proceeds will be split between the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

auction and raffle. A food and clothing drive and financial donations will
be accepted in lieu of paying admission at the door. Financial donations
will be given to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Sun, May 16. Listening Room Cafe Parking Lot. 209 10th Avenue South. Noon - 10 pm. $35 in advance, $40 at the door. Performances by Jeffery Steele, Trent Tomlinson, Danny Myrick, Bridgette Tatum, 80's Pop Star Tiffany, Chris Blair, Whitney Layne, Lindsey Lawler, Sarah Silva, Stephen Sawyers, Eric Pasley, Dylan Altman and more! Beer garden, food, soft drinks and water available. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy a full day of music by local songwriters at this block party. $5 from each ticket will be donated to Hands on Nashville and event attendees may also make additional donations.
Music City Keep On Playin': A Benefit for Flood Relief Sun, May 16. Ryman Auditorium. 458-8700. 8 pm. $25. Performances by Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride, Rodney Atkins, Kellie Pickler, CeCe Winans, Jaci Velasquez, Will Hoge and other artists. Click here to purchase tickets online. Additionally, the phonebanks will be manned from 3 pm to 11 pm. Donations can be made by calling 877-768-6274 or on this website. All money raised through ticket sales and donations will be given to those in need through the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
