Hooters' Renovation Complete Hooters Nashville. 184 2nd Avenue North. 244-4668. Hooters temporarily closed in mid-March for renovations and re-opened this week! New floors, new furniture and more.

Fri, May 28. Frist Center for the Visual Arts. 919 Broadway. 244-3340. 6-9 pm. The popular summer concert series begins this Friday! The Dirt Drifters will perform in the courtyard. Light appetizers are provided and there is a cash bar. No admission charge for members, and non-members pay $10.00. Admission includes entrance to the current exhibits including Chihuly at the Frist. The Frist Friday concert series will continue on June 25 and July 30.
Strawberry Jubilee Sat, May 29. Nashville Farmers' Market Farm Sheds. 900 Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. 880-2001. 10 am - 1 pm. Free. A Strawberry Jubilee to celebrate the strawberry! The Green Bag Lady kicks off the event at 10 am by handing out her free reusable bags (while supplies last). Special treats from many of the Farmers' Market merchants (strawberry milk, cupcakes, strawberry shortcake, etc.), community supported agriculture from Delvin Farms, and Fleur de Lis Flavors will be open in their mobile truck. Plus, live music! |
