CMA Music Festival Events this Week

 

CMA Music Festival

Thurs, Jun 11 - Sun, Jun 14. LP Field, Riverfront Park, Nashville Convention Center, Sommet Center, Public Square and Hilton Park. $30 - $40 for a nightly pass to LP Field, 4-day passes with full access to all venues are $110 - $185. Tickets are available at the Sommet Center Box Office. Four days of concerts and events! Over 30,000 people are expected in downtown Nashville (see article below for road closure information). Nightly concerts at LP Field feature the big-name artists, daily concerts at Riverfront Park star mostly up-and-coming artists, and the Fan Fair Exhibit Hall at the Nashville Convention Center includes autograph signings.

Music City Zone in Public Square

Thurs, Jun 11 - Sat, Jun 13. Public Square. Corner of 3rd and Union. Open noon - 5 pm (Thurs - Fri) and 11 am - 6 pm (Sat). Perfect for downtown employees on their lunch break. Free live music in Public Square including performances by Lucas Hoge, Heartland, the Gabe Dixon Band, Jeremy Lister, Mandy Barnett and more. BackYard Burgers meal deal for $6 with coupon (regularly $8). Meal includes a burger or BBQ sandwich plus two sides. The Yazoo Beer Garden will offer beer specials on Thursday and Friday.

 

FREE Concerts in Riverfront Park

Thurs, Jun 11 - Sun, Jun 14. Riverfront Park. 10 am - 6 pm. The first year that concerts in this area have been FREE. Great artists including Chuck Wicks, Diamond Rio, Oak Ridge Boys, Eric Church, Jo Dee Messina, Emerson Drive, Gloriana, Josh Gracin, John Michael Montgomery, and many, many more.

 

Additional free areas include the Family Zone in Hilton Park, the Sommet Center Plaza Stage, the Sports Zone in front of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, and the Fun Zone/Hard Rock Stage.

Nashville Symphony Performs in the Park

Fri, Jun 12. Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. 600 James Robertson Parkway. 8 pm - 9:15 pm. Free. The orchestra's Assistant Conductor, Kelly Corcoran, will lead an inviting program of well-known classics that listeners of all ages and tastes are sure to love. The perfect opportunity to experience Nashville's orchestra in the great outdoors: pack a picnic dinner, bring the whole family and celebrate summertime with an evening of great music.
 

Gospel Experience in the Park
Sat, Jun 13. Tennessee Amphitheatre -Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. 600 James Robertson Parkway. 5 pm - 8 pm. Free. Minister Johnson of Touching the World Ministries and Rejoice 880 AM present this free concert. Performances by Minister DeWitt Johnson, the Touching the World Singers and Band, and Regina McCrary.

 

Urban Residents' Association Meeting

Mon, Jun 15. The Stahlman. 211 Union Street. 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Join your downtown neighbors over wine and appetizers at this kick-off meeting for the new URA Board. New merchant access program cards are available. Presentations by Urban Sun and the Nashville Downtown Partnership.

- 5th Avenue South between Broadway and Demonbreun (the one-block stretch between the Sommet Center and the Hilton)
