Public Meeting: Possible Closure of Arcade Post Office Mon, Jun 29. Main Library's Auditorium. 615 Church Street. 872-5711. 6 - 7 pm. Free. The United States Postal Service is considering closing the Post Office located in the Arcade and relocating those operations to the Broadway Station (901 Broadway) located at the Frist Center. Opportunity to discuss this proposed closure and possible alternatives.

So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law.

Fri, Jun 26. Frist Center for the Visual Arts. 919 Broadway. 244-3340. 6-9 pm. The popular summer concert series begins this Friday. Supe Granda and the Sandwiches will perform in the courtyard. Light appetizers are provided and there is a cash bar. No admission charge for members, and non-members pay $8.50. Admission includes entrance to the current exhibits including two new exhibits that open to the public on Friday: Chuck Close Prints: Process and Collaboration and Dean Byington: Terra Incognita. The Frist Friday concert series will conclude on July 31.
Goodguys 4th Annual Hot Rod & Custom Car Nationals Fri, Jun 26 - Sun, Jun 28. LP Field. 565-4300. 8 am - 5 pm, Fri - Sat, and 8 am - 3 pm, Sun. $17 for adults, $6 (ages 7 - 12), free (ages 6 and under). Over 2,000 hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks through 1972. Plus, vendor and manufacturer exhibits, swap meet and cars for sale corral, and the Goodguys Street Challenge AutoCross.
