Thurs, Dec 31. 1st & Broadway (in front of the Hard Rock Cafe). 7:30 pm. Free. Nashville's official New Year's Eve Party featuring a free block party, live music and fireworks. Artists include Rodney Atkins, Tommy Sims, Marc Broussard, Jonny Lang, The Dirt Drifters, and Gabe Dixon. Plus, an 80-foot Guitar Drop along with fireworks at midnight!
Capitol Grille Thurs, Dec 31. Capitol Grille at the Hermitage Hotel. 231 6th Avenue North. 345-7116. Seatings at 5 pm, 7 pm and 9 pm. The two early seatings will feature a four-course prix-fixe menu with a live jazz band. $95 per person plus tax and gratuity. The 9:30 pm seating features a lavish five-course prix-fixe menu, champagne toast, and live jazz music. $135 per person plus tax and gratuity.
