Anderson Design Studio Nashville Downtown Live It Up!

The beginning

An exciting addition to this year’s tour, Project PENTHOUSE Documents the makeover of a 2,200 square foot residence on the 23rd and 24th floors of The Cumberland in the heart of downtown Nashville.  The Cumberland was completed in 1998 as an apartment building. In 2005, developer Tony Giarratana (www.giarratana.com) partnered with McKinney Properties and began converting the top four levels to high-end luxury condominiums.  The penthouse extreme makeover will be a featured stop on the 3rd Annual LIVE IT UP! Downtown Home Tour, to be held on Sunday, April 30, 2006.  The living space will be completely transformed by opening up the floor plan, and adding unique design elements, bathrooms, flooring, appliances, and designer furniture.

The designer of Project PENTHOUSE is well-known Nashville-based interior designer Kathy Anderson, of Anderson Design Studio.  Kathy, who is best known for sleek, luxurious and warm contemporary spaces, describes her work as “interior architecture.” She has both commercial and residential clients, has been featured on Home and Garden Television (HGTV), and received multiple design awards.
