Downtown Nashville is the geographic and population center of the
region—with a high density employee base of over 48,000 decision-makers,
professionals and support staff. It’s the center of government—including
Metro, State and Federal offices—as well as major industry sectors. Since 2001, several
major corporate headquarters have chosen downtown locations including Louisiana
Pacific, CareMark, CMT, Nissan North America, NovaCopy, and Qualifacts. It’s an easy commute to work in downtown Nashville—with convenient access via three major Interstates. For business travelers, the Nashville International Airport—with almost 400 daily flights to 89 markets—is about 10 minutes away and downtown has 11 hotels with almost 3,000 rooms.
There are many options for customized work space downtown - including over 4 million square feet of Class A space and one office building under construction with over 500,000 square feet. With over 145 downtown restaurants serving lunch and a free weekday LunchLINE shuttle sponsored by the Nashville Downtown Partnership, lunch and errands are easy. Another employee benefit is the Partnership's LP Field Parking Option - which offers free parking at LP Field with a low-cost ($25 per month) shuttle to stops near most major office buildings.
And at the end of the day, you can get an early start on an evening “on the town.” With great sports and entertainment venues, fine dining and live music, downtown Nashville is the place to WORK!
