DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Where Seeing Is Believing

Wouldn't it be great to have one place you could go to find out about everything going on in downtown Nashville-new residential development, public and private investments, demographics? Since January 2004 the Downtown Development Center, in Suite G-150, One Nashville Place (at the corner of Commerce and 4th Avenue North) has been such a place. Its core purpose is "to demonstrate in a visible, tangible way the vision for the downtown urban core while telling a compelling story that attracts new commercial tenants, new retail businesses and new residential development."

This facility is available at no charge for use by private and public sector groups for meetings, workshops and conferences. The large open meeting space accommodates more than 80 people (theater seating) or tables for groups of 6 to 60. A small private conference room seats 10 to 12 people.

The Development Center features WORK, PLAY, LIVE and INVEST wall banners (photos and text) and an ImageWalls Satellite Digital View (8 by 9 feet) of Downtown Nashville. Equipment available includes a 42-inch plasma screen and large drop-down screen, digital LCD projector, wireless Internet access and a research computer. Upon request, the staff customizes marketing presentations and research data for brokers, developers and other groups.
