Events This Week
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 6 PM - 10 PM
LOCATION: PUBLIC SQUARE PARK GENERAL ADMISSION: FREE AND VIP: $45
Enjoy live music outside in Public Square, located in front of the Metro Courthouse. This third annual outdoor concert features local and national artists. Blankets, folding chairs, strollers, and water bottles are welcomed at this free six-week concert series.

7:45 pm - Rumba
9 pm - Los Lonely Boys
$3 parking available in the Metro Courthouse parking garage located directly below the park. Free bicycle parking. VIP tickets available for $45. Tickets include beer, soft drinks, water, food, and an incredible view of the stage.

Jezebel’s Got the Blues features eight dramatic readings written and illustrated by Merrill Farnsworth and accompanied by the music of Phil Madeira. Actors include local theater favorites Nan Gurley, Chip Arnold, and Bonnie Keen. These re-imaginings of familiar Old Testament stories explore issues of love, despair and faith.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 6 PM - MIDNIGHT
LOCATION: CANNERY BALLROOM $40
Conexion Americas kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month with a fiesta and awards reception. An annual cultural celebration featuring authentic Latin American food and music by Kazique and RUMBA. The winners of the Orgullo Hispano award and the Young Latino Essay Contest will be announced at this event.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 5 PM - 8 PM
LOCATION: TERRAZZO FREE
Art and architecture intersect at this event featuring more than 150 works of art in an exclusive urban residential setting - Terrazzo's expansive two-story penthouses. Featuring artwork from twelve local galleries. This special exhibit will also be open on Saturday, September 17 from noon to 4 pm.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
LOCATION: NASHVILLE FARMERS' MARKET FREE
Shop "under the stars" at the Night Market! Enjoy shopping, wine from the cash bar, beverages from merchants, live music, free samples, artisan booths, and much more. Night Market will be held both inside the Market House and outside in the farm sheds, with all Market House restaurants and shops open. Fall is in the air with apples, pumpkins and more of your favorite Fall treats.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
LOCATION: BICENTENNIAL MALL FREE
Join thousands of other walkers during Walk2Reach. This family-friendly event includes a 5K walk, inflatables, games, food, music, and other activities. The purpose of Walk2Reach is to motivate the Christian community to help support local and international ministries. Online registration is available.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 6 PM - 10 PM
LOCATION: BOURBON STREET BLUES & BOOGIE BAR FREE; DONATIONS ACCEPTED
The Nashville Rollergirls are the hosts for this luau-themed fundraiser. The event features Hawaiian-themed food and music, a chance to mingle with the rollergirls, and a silent auction.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 1 PM - 3:30 PM
LOCATION: RIVERFRONT PARK
The 2011 Great Nashville Duck Race is a duck derby benefiting over 3,500 youth served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. Over 10,000 rubber ducks will be dropped from the Korean War Veterans' Memorial Bridge and will race down the Cumberland River. The duck drop is at 1 pm and the results tally will happen by 1:30 pm. Rubber ducks are available for adoption for $5 a duck. Other adoption opportunities include: A six QUACK for $25; QUACKER'S dozen (13) for $50; and a FLOCK of ducks (25) for $100. The lucky duck reaching the finish line first will win $10,000 in cash and additional prizes for others who place second, third and fourth.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 11:45 AM - 1 PM

The library's hit music series continues with concerts in the courtyard! Bring your lunch and enjoy free music by top acts in many genres every Tuesday through October 11. Bearfoot performs on Tuesday, September 20.
Head to the Country Music Hall of Fame for lunch during Wednesdays in September! Live music from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm, with autograph signings immediately following. Performance schedule includes Ty Herndon on September 21 and Restless Heart on September 28. The performers will also be the guest cooks of the day! Use the Music City Circuit to get down to the Hall. Just hop on and get off at the Hilton Downtown stop and walk on over!
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, NOON - 1 PM
LOCATION: COLAB NASHVILLE FREE
