The Santaland Diaries

THROUGH SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, PERFORMANCE TIMES VARY
LOCATION: TPAC - TENNESSEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER $42.50 - $47.50

This hilarious one-man show starring Matt Chiorini is one of Tennessee Rep's most requested holiday productions. Chiorini stars as Crumpet the Elf from The Santaland Diaries, David Sedaris' sardonic look at his holiday employment as an elf at Macy's. Out of work, Sedaris decides to become a Macy's elf during the seasonal crunch. At first the job is simply humiliating, but once the thousands of visitors start pouring through Santa's workshop, he becomes battle-weary and bitter.

Tree Lighting, Performance & Autograph Signing with Jimmy Wayne

LOCATION: COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM FREE

Join Jimmy Wayne as he lights the museum's Christmas tree. Plus, a free concert and an exclusive Nashville signing of his new book, Paper Angels. Nashville International Auto Show

LOCATION: NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER $4 - $8

Plus, test drives, special giveaways and appearances. Enjoy Kids' Day on Sunday, November 28 when all children twelve and under will be admitted free with a paying adult.


Chuck Wagon Gang's 75th Year Anniversary Celebration

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 3 PM - 4:30 PM
LOCATION: ERNEST TUBB RECORD SHOP FREE

This event marks the 75th Anniversary for the Chuck Wagon Gang. On November 25 and 26, the Gang made their first recordings at a small studio set up at the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Several presentations are expected at this event.
