New restaurant: Joe Natural's!
209 10th Avenue South #213. 615-345-6313. Great new restaurant offering breakfast and lunch in Cummins Station! Menu items include the Miss Mary Bobo (roasted turkey with fig, garlic chutney, grilled onions), the Mediterranean Salad (hummus, red quinoa, artichoke hearts, olives, mixed greens), and more sandwiches, salads, and soups. Hours are Mon - Fri, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

RLife Live at the Renaissance Featuring RStars

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4 - THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 5 PM - 9 PM
LOCATION: THE BRIDGE LOUNGE FREE

Two nights of entertainment featuring the Renaissance Nashville Hotel associates performing from a wide range of genres. From country to pop to R&B and more. Drop in for a great show either or both nights.


The Art of Corsair Distillery

THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 6 PM - 8 PM
LOCATION: WAR MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM $30

The last event of this year's The Art Of series, a fun and educational spirits and beer tasting series. Corsair Distillery has locations in Nashville and Bowling Green. The distillery does everything by hand, from production to bottling. Vanilla Bean Vodka, Spiced Rum, Red Absinthe, and Wry Moon Unaged Rye Whiskey are some of the flavorful spirits they offer. Enjoy tastings from their latest batches of spirits and learn recipes to make tasty cocktails. Proceeds will benefit TPAC Education.

 

Scottish Heritage Festival

SATURDAY, APRIL 7, 10 AM - 4 PM
LOCATION: NASHVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY FREE

A full day of fun for the whole family. Activities and entertainment include bagpipes in the auditorium, heraldry, tartans, crafts, a scavenger hunt, and highland and country dancing.


First Saturday Art Crawl

SATURDAY, APRIL 7, 6 PM - 9 PM

Art galleries throughout downtown host receptions and art openings every month. Most galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. Easter morning worship at 10:30 am with a sermon entitled "Hope Is Risen". 


Easter at Christ Church Cathedral

SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 8:30 AM AND 11 AM
LOCATION: CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL

Sunday of the Resurrection Holy Eucharist services at 7 am, 8:30 am, and 11 am. Other Holy Week services include Maundy Thursday Holy Eucharist with foot-washing and stripping of the altar at 6 pm. Good Friday services at 8:30 am and noon.


Easter at Downtown Presbyterian Church

SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 11 AM
LOCATION: DOWNTOWN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Easter worship service at 11 am. Breakfast will be served at 9 am. Free parking when you tell the parking attendant you are attending church at DPC.

 

Easter and Holy Week Services at First Lutheran

SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 7 AM AND 10:30 AM
LOCATION: FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH ELCA

Easter Sunday's schedule includes Holy Communion at 7 am and 10:30 am. Additional Holy Week services are the Maundy Thursday service on April 5 at 7 pm and the Good Friday worship services at noon and 7 pm on April 6. Also, on Easter morning breakfast begins at 8:30 am and is served though 10 am. Free parking is available.

 

Easter and Good Friday Services at McKendree

SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 9 AM AND 11 AM
LOCATION: MCKENDREE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Two Good Friday service options. A noon service and an evening worship service at 6:30 pm. The dress code is come as you are. Easter worship celebrations on Sunday at 9 am and 11 am.


Easter Brunch at the Hall

SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 10 AM - 3 PM
LOCATION: TWO TWENTY TWO GRILL & CATERING
