Music City Circuit - alternative routes!
Due to all of this week's road closures, the Music City Circuit has an adjusted route. Taking the circuit is especially better than driving your car this week!
Events This Week
West Michigan-based Denali Flavors, developers of Moose Tracks flavor of ice cream, has partnered with Purity Dairy to host a free ice cream giveaway. Ten-thousand scoops of Moose Tracks will be given away. For each scoop eaten, Denali Flavors will donate $1 to Rocketown in an effort to raise $10,000 of new support for its vital community programs.
A choral concert and spoken word event presented by the 100-voice mixed chorus of Nashville in Harmony in collaboration with the youth spoken word performance artists of Southern Word (formerly YouthSpeaks Nashville). The program features dynamic music and compelling original poetry. Repertoire features the premiere of two original choral works created for this event, as well as a wide variety of exciting arrangements of familiar pop and Broadway tunes for which the chorus is famous.

Four days of concerts and events! Nightly concerts at LP Field feature the big-name artists, daily concerts at Riverfront Park star well known and up-and-coming artists, and the Fan Fair Hall at the Nashville Convention Center offers autograph signings.
Take part in all of the FREE festivities offered this year including the FREE Concerts in Riverfront Park! Performances from 10 am to 6 pm. Free. Great artists including Montgomery Gentry, Phil Vassar, Darryl Worley, and many, many more.
Additional free areas include The Buckle along Lower Broadway, the Soleil Bella Beach in Hilton Park, Fan Alley in front of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, free concerts on the Hard Rock Cafe's outdoor stage starting at 11 am each day, and more. Check out all of these areas on the festival's map.

10th Avenue Toast is a community mixer that occurs the first Thursday of every month. If you work in the 10th Avenue District or like to enjoy what the neighborhood has to offer, attend this event and meet the 10th Avenue District committee members. Special acoustic performance by T. Graham Brown.

Pack a picnic dinner, bring friends and family and celebrate summertime with a great evening of free music by the Nashville Symphony. Associate Conductor Kelly Corcoran will lead the symphony in a mix of beloved orchestral favorites, classic tunes and unforgettable movie music.
Learn the art of classic Southern biscuit baking with local biscuit expert Maryann Byrd while in town for the CMA Music Festival. She will teach you the recipes and tricks she has learned while documenting the best biscuit makers in the South in her film and book, The Biscuit Dive Guide. She will teach students how to make the best classic Southern biscuit recipes in her book and teach the tried and true tricks of making them turn out high and flaky. Enjoy samples during class. Immerse yourself with Nashville's creative community! This summer soiree features live music, aerial dance, film, spoken word, visual and performance art. Plus, an open bar and hors d'oeuvres from local eateries. Also, a silent auction featuring everything from co-writing sessions with top songwriters to enticing offers from local businesses. Proceeds benefit The Arts & Business Council's Volunteer Lawyers & Professionals for the Arts, a program that has provided $1 million worth of free legal and business help to over 1,000 low-income artists and 300 nonprofit arts organizations over the past five years.

LOCATION: THE TURNIP TRUCK URBAN FARE FREE; REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
A representative from CSA Nashville, an organization that provides support and information for patients (and families) diagnosed with Celiac Disease and Gluten Intolerance, will offer attendees pointers on adjusting to a gluten-free diet. Also, enjoy samples gluten-free food from The Turnip Truck. Advanced registration is required. All participants will receive a 10% discount on groceries purchased at the time of the class, as well as a $5 gift card toward grocery purchases during a return visit. This class will also be offered on Saturday, June 16 at 10 am.
