The Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman series continues with The Gibson Brothers, Steep Canyon Rangers and The Roys on July 5. Additional concerts in this series include Rhonda Vincent on July 12, Dailey & Vincent on July 19, and Ricky Skaggs on July 26. Also, before each show there will be free music on the Ryman plaza from 6 pm - 7 pm as part of the Pickin' on the Plaza series.

Free outdoor live music at the corner of 2nd & Broadway on the night of each full moon! Performances by Brad Folk and the Bluegrass Playboys, Nashville Pickin' Party, Chris Henry and the Hardcore Grass, Midnight From Memphis, and many more. Plus, moonshine, cold beer, spirits, and hot food for sale. The festival will be held in the surface parking lot adjacent to Bootleggers. The Full Moon Festival will also be held on August 2, August 30, September 27 and October 31.

The St. Lunachix face the Music City Brawl Stars at 5:30 pm. Immediately following the first game, the Arch Rival All Stars from St. Louis skate against the Music City All Stars.
An exciting program celebrating the rhymes and rhythms of Mother Goose. This high-energy, interactive show features live performances, hand puppets, music, and marionettes. All ages. No reservations required. Presented by the Nashville Public Library.

Owner or fan of the MINI? Drive like you've never driven before on an amazing closed course track staffed by professional drivers. The track features hairpin turns and slaloms built specifically to challenge and test MINI enthusiasts. Attendees can take as many spins through the course as they want in all of the latest MINI models, including the all-new MINI Roadster. This autocross is part of the fourth bi-annual MINI road rally. Songwriters in the Park features live performances by local songwriters including Jay Craik, Cheri Hefner, Too Old To Care, Golden State Refugees, and Crash Like This. Bring a picnic and blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the live music! Dogs are welcome, too. These events will continue through September on the first Saturday of each month to coincide with the First Saturday Art Crawl.

As part of its effort to help combat the obesity epidemic in our community, the Nashville Civic Design Center, in partnership with the Tennessee Obesity Task Force, the Nashville Healthcare Council, YMCA of Middle Tennessee, the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Office of Mayor Karl Dean/Metro Nashville, are hosting screenings of the four-part HBO documentary, The Weight of the Nation. This July 10 showing is the second film in the series is Choices.

A weekly farmers market in Bank of America Plaza (located between the Bank of America building and the Doubletree Hotel). This market will be held on Tuesdays from 11 am to 2 pm. Shop for local organically and conventionally grown produce, pastured eggs, hand-crafted cheeses, baked goods, prepared foods and more. This event is organized by Good Food for Good People as part of their Edible Community Project.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 11, 6:30 PM
LOCATION: EVENTS ON THIRD FREE
Performances in the round featuring John Oates, Gary Morris, Drake White and more. Plus, a special performance by the Little Kids Rock student band. Also, enjoy a free dinner buffet from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, a silent auction and a cash bar. Proceeds benefit Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit that provides music instruction for public school students who have been left behind due to budget cuts. Presented by NAMM, Two Old Hippies, Bedell Guitars, and The Music Trades.
