401 Church Street. #100. 615-252-2567. Dunn Bros is now offering an expanded menu of breakfast and lunch items. Choices include hot and cold sandwiches, soups and more. All bread is baked in-house. The store has also been renovated.

Based on the 2002 film and the incredible true story that inspired it, Catch Me If You Can is a high-flying, splashy new Broadway musical. Frank W. Abignale, Jr. is a teenager who runs away from home in search of the glamorous life. With his boyish charm, a big imagination and millions of dollars in forged checks, Frank successfully poses as a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer. When his lies catch the attention of FBI agent Carl Hanratty, Carl chases Frank to the end ... and finds something he never expected.

This performance delivers the life-affirming message that love conquers all. In this hilarious comic opera, Rossini (the composer of The Barber of Seville) gives us his madcap version of the classic fairy tale Cinderella. Rossini's opera adds some original twists and unexpected turns. It's a perfect opera for the entire family or your favorite Fairy Godmother. Featuring the Nashville Symphony. Sung in Italian with projected English translations.

 

Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour

Vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater joins bassist Christian McBride and his quintet for a tribute to the longest running jazz festival in the world. Since its inception in 1958, the Monterey Jazz Festival has presented nearly every major jazz star — from Billie Holiday to Louis Armstrong to Esperanza Spalding. This presentation will capture the festival's adventurous, exuberant spirit with an evening of joyful fun, classic songs and original compositions.

 

SEYA's "The Affair to Care"

The Southeastern Young Alumni (SEYA) Charitable Foundation's Affair to Care is a black-tie (optional) event. Enjoy an open bar and hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants. Puppet Show: The Little Rabbit Who Wanted Red Wings

An original Tom Tichenor marionette play featuring beloved Tichenor puppets and the voice of the puppet master himself. Little Rabbit learns a valuable lesson when his wish comes true in this library favorite.


Tapping of Brewer's Select

TUESDAY, JANUARY 29, 5 PM - 7 PM
LOCATION: BIG RIVER GRILLE & BREWING WORKS FREE

Join Big River as they tap their Brewer's Select Pale Ale. Enjoy samples of the new brew, plus passed appetizer samples and a raffle for Big River merchandise and gift cards. This modern, hoppy American Pale Ale will be available at the restaurant through March 3, 2013. A portion of proceeds benefit Hands on Nashville.


Honoring A Legend: A Tribute to Cowboy Jack Clement

"Honoring A Legend: A Tribute to Cowboy Jack Clement" will celebrate the remarkable life and legacy of Cowboy Jack as his friends pay homage to his rich musical accomplishments. Over 15 artists will perform, including Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell.

Nashville B-cycle

Need to run a quick errand that is too far to walk but too close to drive? Use Nashville B-cycle! 190 bright red bikes are located at 20 automated B-stations within three miles of downtown. 24-hour memberships are $5 and annual memberships are $50. Nashville B-cycle is priced for quick rides. After joining, you can take an unlimited number of rides during your membership with no additional charge for the first hour of any ride. Usage fees apply for all rides that exceed one hour. Bikes you love and leave!

Planning a corporate or social event this year? Look no further than downtown! These special event venues are the perfect location for your upcoming event. Also, many downtown restaurants and art galleries are great venue rental options.
