Re-open: Listening Room Cafe!

New restaurant: Mac's!

A few of Music City’s best DJs including Kidsmeal, DJ Rate, DJ Orig, DJ Crumbz, and DJ Choseen will begin stage one of the battle for the title of Red Bull Thre3style national champion. Red Bull Thre3style is an innovative concept that gives highly skilled DJs a global platform to showcase their skills and gain notoriety. Competing DJs are given fifteen minutes and must play three different genres of music. A panel of music industry judges will select the winners based on track selection, creativity, mixing skills, stage presence and crowd reaction.
The Oak Bar has been named the #1 hotel bar in the South and is a featured bar for Southern Living's South-Wide Happy Hour. Tennessee Champagne (Jack Daniel's Single Barrel, Dr. Enuf, and sorghum) will be available for $6 all night and special half off prices on the bar snack menu until 6:30 pm.
Artist Camille Utterback, the artist behind the Tracing Time/Marking Movement exhibition, discusses the creation and evolution of her interactive installations and other computer-generated works. She explores how the creation of her works — which rely on cameras and computer code — is similar to and different from traditional painting. She will also discuss how she became interested in computational systems to construct her pieces.

A cutting edge improv and sketch comedy show, Nashville Safari, explores all things Nashville ... from songwriting and honky-tonks, to universities and neighborhoods. The show is based on audience suggestions and features open scene improv, mixed in with short games as seen on such popular shows as "Whose Line Is It Anyway."

This regional premiere is an engaging and humorous look at family life inspired by the life and work of collage artist Della Wells. The main character, Tonia, is an artistic 9 year-old with fantastic dreams of a giant future. Tonia's mom wants her to be like a doll, perfectly mannered and always the same size. Tonia's dad wants her to blend into the crowd.
