4th Annual 2 Chefs 2 Visions

THURSDAY, MARCH 28, 6:30 PM
LOCATION: NASHVILLE FARMERS' MARKET $75

Nashville Pride's dining event features farm-to-table fare and savory new surprises including flavors from four renowned chefs and live music by the 10 String Symphony. Chefs cooking for the event are Daisy King, Margot McCormack, Arnold Myint and Laura Wilson. Champagne reception at 6:30 pm. Family-style dinner begins at 7:30 pm.

 

Holy Week at McKendree

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27 - SUNDAY, MARCH 31, VARIES BY DATE
LOCATION: MCKENDREE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FREE

Passover Seder at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, March 27. Maundy Thursday service on March 28 at 6:30 pm. Two Good Friday service options: a noon service and an evening worship service at 6:30 pm. Easter worship celebrations on Sunday at 9 am and 11 am.

 

Holy Week at First Lutheran Church

THURSDAY, MARCH 28 - SUNDAY, MARCH 31, VARIES BY DATE
LOCATION: FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH ELCA FREE

A full week of services. Maundy Thursday service on March 28 at 7 pm. Good Friday worship services at 12:15 pm and 7 pm on March 29. Easter Sunday's schedule includes Holy Communion at 7 am and 10:30 am. Also, breakfast on Easter morning begins at 8:30 am and is served through 10 am. The nursery will be available. Free parking provided in the parking lot at the corner of 8th Avenue S and McGavock.

 

Holy Week at Christ Church Cathedral

THURSDAY, MARCH 28 - SUNDAY, MARCH 31, VARIES BY DATE
LOCATION: CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL FREE

Sunday of the Resurrection Holy Eucharist services at 7 am, 8:30 am, and 11 am. Other Holy Week services include Maundy Thursday Holy Eucharist with foot-washing and stripping of the altar at 6 pm. Plus, services at 8:30 am, 10 am, and 12:15 pm. Good Friday service at noon. Holy Saturday and Easter Eve services at 10 am and 7 pm.


Holy Week at St. Mary's Catholic Church

THURSDAY, MARCH 28 - SUNDAY, MARCH 31, VARIES BY DATE
LOCATION: ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH FREE

Holy Thursday Mass at 7 pm followed by Eucharist Adoration until midnight. Good Friday service at 3 pm. Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday, March 30 at 8 pm. Mass on Easter Sunday at 9 am.

 

Easter at First Baptist

SUNDAY, MARCH 31, 10:30 AM
LOCATION: FIRST BAPTIST NASHVILLE FREE

Easter morning worship at 10:30 am with a sermon entitled "Sunday: The Day that Changed Everything," Service of Word & Table at 8:15 am and Bible Study at 9 am.


Easter at the Downtown Presbyterian Church

SUNDAY, MARCH 31, 11 AM
LOCATION: DOWNTOWN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FREE

Easter worship service at 11 am. Congregational breakfast will be served at 9 am. A children's Easter Egg Hunt will be held before the 11 am service. Free parking when you tell the parking attendant you are attending church at the DPC.

 

2013 EBN Awards

FRIDAY, MARCH 29, 7 PM - 9 PM
LOCATION: ROCKETOWN $20 - $40

The EBN award show recognizes the achievements of business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs in Nashville. Awards in eighteen categories will recognize personal trainers, teachers, organizations and local businesses.


One Year Anniversary Sale

The Color Run

SATURDAY, MARCH 30, START TIME: 9 AM

The Color Run is a feel-good, happy and colorful race. Color runners go from wearing pristine white clothing, to being covered in prismatic color. The Color Run celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality and brings the community together to create a five-kilometer canvas of colorful fun. Nashville Skyline on Nashville

ABC's Nashville will be taping from aboard the General Jackson on Wednesday, April 3 and Thursday, April 4. All downtown buildings are encouraged to be well lit on these two nights so that our great skyline shines! If you live or work downtown with windows that can be seen from the Cumberland River, please turn on (and leave on) the lights.

Downtown Home Tour

Tickets for the 10th Annual Downtown Home Tour presented by PARKS are available. Tour tickets are $10 (ages 17 and under are free). Buy now and get three or more tickets for only $8 each!
