Downtown Merchant Information
Please note a large convention, the Archery Trade Association (8,000 attendees), will take place at the Music City Center from Saturday, January 4 - Wednesday, January 8, 2014 with several meal breaks each day. Generally, attendees will be own their own for breakfast, dinner and bar/late night dining each day. Plus, expect crowds during lunch hours on Sunday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 8.

Ring in the New Year with Style

New Year's Eve at Capitol Grille

 

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 5 PM, 7 PM AND 9:30 PM
LOCATION: CAPITOL GRILLE AT THE HERMITAGE HOTEL 5 PM AND 7 PM SEATING $105; 9:30 PM SEATING $150

The 5 pm and 7 pm seating includes a four-course menu, and the 9:30 pm seating offers a five-course menu with a sparkling wine toast at midnight. All three seatings will feature a trio jazz band as entertainment.

 

New Year's Eve Dinner at The Southern

Rock'n New Year's Eve with Stacy Mitchhart

New Year's Eve Bash at Whiskey Bent Saloon

Music City New Year's Eve Bash on Broadway

 

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 6:30 PM - 12:30 AM
LOCATION: THE DISTRICT FREE

Nashville's official New Year's Eve party features a free block party and concert on Broadway between 1st and 5th Avenues. At midnight, a 15-foot-tall Music Note will drop from a 115-foot structure and be capped off with a great fireworks show and confetti canons! Hank Williams, Jr. will headline the concert. Additional performances by Brett Eldredge, Robert Randolph, Blackberry Smoke, Kopecky Family Band and Striking Matches.

Note: road closures associated with this event. Closures include 1st Avenue (Demonbreun to Union); Broadway (1st Avenue to 8th Avenue); 2nd Avenue (Demonbreun to Church); Church (1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue); Commerce (2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue); 3rd Avenue (Demonbreun to Commerce); 4th Avenue (Demonbreun to Commerce); 5th Avenue (Demonbreun to Commerce); 6th Avenue (Demonbreun to Broadway); 7th Avenue (Demonbreun to Commerce); Bank Street (1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue); the Gay Street Connector; Victory (Titans Way to South 1st Street); Titans Way (Victory to Russell) and Russell (South 1st Street to Titans Way). Closures begin as early as 6 am on Friday, December 27 and end as late as 5 pm on Thursday, January 2. Note: the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge will be closed at 11 pm and re-open immediately after the fireworks on Tuesday, December 31.

 

Pop at the Rock: New Year's Eve at the Hard Rock Cafe

Three party options to choose from to ring in the new year! VIP Level: $175 per person includes dinner, two drink tickets, a champagne toast at midnight, access to the Ledge to view the Bash on Broadway concert, an after party show and party favor. All Star Level: $125 per person includes dinner, two drink tickets, party favor and access to the cafe's parking lot (tented and heated) to view the Bash on Broadway. Club level: $75 per person includes two drink tickets and access to the cafe's parking lot (tented and heated) to view the Bash on Broadway.

 

New Year's Eve at Hotel Indigo

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, dancing, party favors, two drink tickets, a vast array of delicious hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight to ring in 2014. A Very Gatsby New Year's Eve

The Nashville City Club will transform into the Roaring '20s with a Gatsby-inspired party. All inclusive tickets grant guests full open bar access, an appetizer buffet, party favors, live music, a midnight champagne toast and a great view to watch downtown's New Year's Eve festivities. Reserving tickets in advance is encouraged.

 

New Year's Eve with The Mavericks and Brandon Giles

LOCATION: COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM $145

Tickets include performances by The Mavericks and Brandon Giles, an upscale chef's buffet, a champagne toast at midnight, a spectacular view of the Bash on Broadway fireworks show, party favors and more. Casino Royale New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve with Soul Sacrifice

Soul Sacrifice is quickly garnering a reputation as one of the best Santana tribute bands in the country. Collectors Art Night

 

FRIDAY, JANUARY 3, 5 PM - 8:30 PM
LOCATION: 5TH AVENUE OF THE ARTS FREE

Art talks on the 5th Avenue of the Arts hosted by Paul Polycarpou, editor of Nashville Arts Magazine. Cocktails will be served at 5:30 pm. At 6 pm, The Rymer Gallery will start the evening with a conversation with sculptors Charles Clary and Jamey Grimes. At 6:45 pm, photographer Dorothy O'Connor will discuss her current exhibit "Scenes" at Tinney Contemporary. The Arts Company will complete the evening with a conversation featuring photographer Jerry Park at 7:15 pm. This event is free, but registration is required. Click here to RSVP. Nashville New Year's Resolution Run

 

SATURDAY, JANUARY 4, 4 PM

After counting down the last of 2013, start your new year with the Nashville Resolution Run benefiting the United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee. Celebrate your 5K finish with prizes, festivities and a complimentary Michelob Ultra.
