Almond Street Road Closure
Almond Street will be closed from Peabody Street to Korean Veterans Boulevard until Monday, March 24.

Chef Tiffani Rozier is leading a series of culinary classes for both juniors (ages 7-12) and seniors (ages 13-17). Junior classes (continuing through Friday, March 21) focus on basic skills and nutrition-oriented games while creating sweet and savory recipes. Senior classes (Monday, March 24 - Thursday, March 27) will provide a heightened level of information and skills, along with a taste of global cuisine and more advanced techniques. Enjoy a gathering of more than 15 local food trucks to celebrate the arrival of spring and introduce new menu items. Participating food trucks include Crepe A Diem, Smoke Et Al, Yayo's O.M.G., The Grilled Cheeserie, Smokin' Thighs and many more! The event will take place on Deaderick Street between 3rd and 5th Avenue North.

Join Manuel for Music Loves Fashion, an artist showcase presented the third Thursday of every month. Each event highlights different musicians and/or fashion designers while benefiting a charitable organization. This month will feature new Texas duo, 100 Miles Gone. Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Tennessee.
Four talented songwriters will perform together on one stage for an amazing night of stories and songs inspired by the roots of Southern rock, gospel, funk and blues. Featuring JJ Grey, Anders Osborne, Marc Broussard and Luther Dickinson, along with special guest Kenny Foster.
Graham Nash, member of folk-rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash and two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, will discuss his new memoir, "Wild Tales: A Rock and Roll Life." A book signing will follow.

Students in Handbuilding Clay Basics will follow step-by-step instructions for a comprehensive understanding of how clay is transformed into a finished piece from beginning to end. Instructed by Linda Johnson.
Pete Anderson gained prominence in the 1980s for his guitar and production work with Dwight Yoakam. Their collaboration generated more than a dozen Top Ten singles and re-established the Bakersfield sound as a force on country radio. In recent years, Anderson has turned his attention to performing the R&B that first inspired him while growing up in Detroit. Anderson will discuss his career and perform songs from the Bakersfield repertoire and his latest release, "Bird Above Guitarland."
A special free concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Nashville Symphony Chorus. Led by conductor Kelly Corcoran, Voices of Spring will feature some of the most inspiring choral music ever written, including Rachmaninoff’s "All Night Vigil," Britten's "Voices for Today," Debussy's "Salut Printemps" and more.

Tin Pan South is the world's largest songwriters' festival. Currently in its 22nd year, the festival boasts more than 250 songwriters in more than 85 shows over five nights in celebrated venues throughout Nashville. Back by popular demand, the winner of more than 50 major awards (including a Grammy and three Tony Awards) returns to Nashville. Before Dorothy arrived in Munchkinland, two girls met in the Land of Oz. One – born with emerald green skin – is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. "Wicked" follows the remarkable story of how these two eventually become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.
