The Listening Room Cafe - now open for brunch!
217 2nd Avenue S. 615-259-3600. The cafe is now serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm. $15 bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's are offered during brunch.


Events This Week

Amp Public Update Meeting


During these public meetings, engineers and designers will review the comments and issues that were raised earlier in the year, discuss the progress that has been made towards resolution of those issues, and answer questions from attendees. The meetings will focus on the portions of the route between Five Points in East Nashville and I-440 in West Nashville. The meeting will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Music City Center. Two options for attendance, either on Wednesday night or on Thursday night.

Music City Pub Crawl


Music City Pub Crawl is a two-hour guided tour that provides a glimpse into Nashville's history while hitting some of downtown's hottest spots along the way. Participating downtown venues include Swingin' Doors SaloonMcFadden'sB.B. King's Blues Club & RestaurantRiverfront TavernFleet Street Pub and Lonnie's Western Room. Price includes a souvenir koozie, drink specials at each stop and a private guide. Tours are offered year round, seven days a week. Click here for more information and to schedule a tour.

Demystifying the Avant Garde



Learn more about modern music, art and literature. You may be surprised to discover that you enjoy what some people consider “difficult art.” Led by Vanderbilt professor Robert Fry. The first 50 people to RSVP will receive a free boxed lunch. Email or call 615-862-5804 x6092 to register.


Opry Country Classics



An exciting celebration of the songs that made Music City, Opry Country Classics highlights a spotlight artist headlining the show with memorable classics and several guests singing their own hits. This performance will feature Larry Gatlin as host and Craig Morgan as the spotlight artist. Plus, Jimmy Fortune, Amber Digby and more will perform.


Blood:Water Mission Artist Showcase


FRIDAY, MAY 23, 5 PM - 7 PM

Help Blood:Water Mission celebrate summer's upcoming arrival with a free artist showcase! Featuring live music by The Trigger Code and Lainey Wright. Plus, the event includes free food and drinks.


Indigo Girls with the Nashville Symphony



Twenty years after they began releasing records as the Indigo Girls, Amy Ray and Emily Saliers are still doing what they do best: bringing their sublime harmonies to their heartfelt catalog of songs. This stop in Music City marks their first-ever performance with the Nashville Symphony.


Music City Mudbug Festival



Held at one huge outdoor stage and two indoor stages at Mercy Lounge and Cannery Ballroom. Plus, five pounds of all-you-can-eat crawfish. Lest We Forget: A Patriotic Salute by the 101st Airborne Division Band



The 101st Airborne Division Band continues the storied legacy of the military musician by fostering morale and goodwill amongst our troops, coalition forces and community. Pack a blanket and folding chair and join the band for this Memorial Day weekend performance in the Turner Courtyard.


Nutrisha at Corvidae Collective

MONDAY, MAY 26 - FRIDAY, MAY 30, 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM

By connecting the community with local farmers and artisan products, Nutrisha assumes the role of sourcing and crafting delicious, nutrient-dense meals that meet a variety dietary needs. Offering locally sourced sandwiches, salads and dinners from Monday - Friday, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm in the downstairs cafe at Corvidae Collective.


Picnic in the Park


WEDNESDAY, MAY 28, 11 AM - 1:30 PM

Plan ahead and visit Church Street Park on your lunch break to enjoy a picnic in the park! Live music beginning at 11:30 am. Plus, food available for purchase from local food trucks from 11 am - 1:30 pm. Or, bring your own lunch and enjoy eating outdoors while listening to great live music. Shaded tables and chairs will be set up for this event. Live music and specific food trucks will be posted on this site closer to the event date.
