New restaurant: Adele's! 1210 McGavock Street. 615-736-5122. Celebrity chef Jonathan Waxman of New York City's Barbuto restaurant and participant on Top Chef Masters has opened shop in Nashville! His signature style melds French cuisine with California style. Adele's menu changes often to insure the freshness of seasonal ingredients and includes a variety of options such as a signature hamburger, smoked trout salad and Waxman's famous JW chicken dish. In a former auto shop garage, the renovated space includes an open kitchen, wood oven and a patio. Hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

The Bridge Lounge at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel kicks off its "Hero Behind the Hits" series, with stories and performance by hit songwriter Gordon Kennedy. Kennedy won the 1997 Grammy Award for Song of the Year for Eric Clapton's #1 hit "Change the World". He has also written hits for Trisha Yearwood, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Alison Krauss and Peter Frampton. Unique food and drink specials will also be available. Nashville Dancin' presented by Dollar General brings local and national artists to the stage for this free summer concert series. The series is held every Thursday through July 31. Riverfront Park's grassy slopes provide natural stadium seating for all to enjoy the live music. Plus, a variety of local food trucks will be on-site. The lineup for Thursday, June 26 includes Will Hoge, Drake White & The Big Fire, Clare Dunn and Brian Collins. Gates open at 5 pm and the music begins at 6 pm. Enjoy a gathering of 15 to 20 local food trucks to celebrate the arrival of summer! Several of the trucks will introduce new menu items. This event will take place every other Thursday through August 21. Trucks will be parked on Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North.

This half-scale replica of the Vietnam memorial found in Washington D.C. and mobile museum has traveled to more than 350 communities throughout the nation spreading healing to family members and awareness for the ones who served. Opening ceremonies begin Thursday, June 26 at 1 pm. the exhibit will be on display from June 26 - 28.

Enjoy Music Nights at The Hermitage Hotel, a twice monthly event held in the hotel's Performing Arts Suite. The series will feature the musical stylings of Americana band Sheriff Scott and the Deputies. Wear gold, bring your friends and join fellow Nashville Predators fans this Friday to watch the Preds make the 11th overall selection in the first round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fans can celebrate the newest Nashville Predator at both Bridgestone Arena’s Tavern ’96 and Barlines inside the Omni Nashville Hotel. All fans in attendance can participate in games, giveaways and enter to win ticket drawings. Season-ticket holders will receive a 25 percent discount on food at Barlines and a 25 percent discount on any item purchased at Tavern ’96.

Now in its 12th year, this exciting series takes place on the final Friday of June, July and August. Attendees are invited to enjoy an evening of live music, light snacks and beverages as well as the diverse exhibitions on view in the Frist Center’s galleries. The Long Players will kick off the series with a rendition of The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" album in the courtyard. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Frist Fridays take place rain or shine.

In celebration of Nashville Craft Beer Week, Tennessee Brew Works is partnering with radio station Lightning 100, who will broadcast live, to thank their neighborhood and customers. The entire block in front of the Ewing Street brewery will be closed to traffic and open for festivities. Tennessee Brew Works will release their Summer Seasonal as well as several other special brews for the occasion. Local favorites will provide food, including The Southern, Flavor Catering, Confeastador and Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. There will also be live music by Guthrie Brown & the Family Tree, Lulu Mae, AJ & the Jiggawatts, DeRobert & the Half-Truths. Third Man Records will also have their Rolling Record Store present. Join the Nashville Predators for craft brews, food, games and entertainment. More than 60 breweries will serve up some of their finest libations. Plus, enjoy special appearances from Nashville Predators personalities. General admission includes entry into the beer festival, a souvenir glass, unlimited tastings and a voucher for an Upper Bowl ticket to a Monday-Thursday Predators pre-season or regular season home game in September or October (excludes opening night). VIP tickets include a VIP tasting area with food and special craft beers among other perks. Designated Driver tickets are also available. The winning brewery will have the opportunity to have their beer served at three Preds games in November. Proceeds benefit the Nashville Predators Foundation.
