Kids of all ages can meet mini horses Magic and Hamlet, learn about their work as therapy horses, and read along with their new book. Don't leave without a horse hug.

Nashville Dancin' presented by Dollar General brings local and national artists to the stage for a free summer concert series held every Thursday through July 31. Riverfront Park's grassy slopes provide natural stadium seating for all to enjoy the live music. Plus, a variety of local food trucks will be on-site. The lineup for Thursday, July 17 includes Hayes Carll, Rayland Baxter, James Wallace & The Naked Light and Oak Creek. Gates open at 5 pm and the music begins at 6 pm. Note: road closures are associated with this event. Closures include 1st Avenue (Broadway to Church Street).
FRIDAY, JULY 18, 6AM - 4PM
LOCATION: LP FIELD
The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the American Red Cross, Metro Nashville Police Department and Nashville Fire Department for the Music City Battle of the Badges blood drive. Local first responders will “battle” it out to see who can recruit the most people in their community to donate blood. This event set a single day record last year to make blood drive history in Middle Tennessee. 526 usable pints of blood were collected, 170 more pints than the year before. It is estimated that those donated pints had the potential to save almost 1,578 lives! All donors will receive a free pair of pre-season tickets to a Predators game, a Davidson County Battle of the Badges t-shirt and a Chick-fil-A Coupon, while supplies last. In addition, there will be an hourly drawing for Titans, Predators and Music City Bowl tickets and more.
The Foundry at McKendree United Methodist Church will host silent auction in the Fellowship Hall. Proceeds will benefit The Foundry Ministry by transitioning the shelter into a fully functional, fully accessible facility.
The Foundry, a ministry of Restoration Pointe located at McKendree United Methodist Church in downtown Nashville, is a transitional housing shelter that helps men get off the street, obtain secure employment, and find permanent housing.
Enjoy shopping, wine from the cash bar, live music, artisan booths, kids' activities and much more at this event held on the third Friday of each month. Market House restaurants and shops will be open. Vendors in the farm sheds will sell local produce, meat, cheese, plants and more!
SATURDAY, JULY 19 - TUESDAY, JULY 22, 8AM-4PM
LOCATION: BICENTENNIAL MALL FREE
The Game Show Network is looking for fun and interesting people to be on its new show, “The Line.” Pre-registration is required and allows participants a chance to select a preferred day of taping. Pre-registration will also confirm your place in the line. Please note: you may only register for one day of taping. Head out to the Court of Three Stars at Bicentennial Mall from Saturday, July 19 to Tuesday, July 22 for your chance to win cash prizes by answering questions and playing physical games. Participants must arrive on location no earlier than 7 am, (the show starts at 8:30 am), with a valid ID and sign in with the show staff. Dress appropriately and be prepared for a day of fun in the sun. Pre-register here.

Brewers from around the country call the Music City Brewer's Festival one of the best festivals they participate in all year! Sample beer from more than 70 local, regional, national and imported breweries. Plus, live entertainment by San Rafael Band, Get Right Band, DeRobert & the Half Truths and Dirk Quinn Band. Food options from area restaurants and an array of vendors will also be available! This festival has two sessions; buy tickets to one or both. VIP tickets include entry to the Friday Night Brewer Reception with food and beer pairings and early admission to the festival's first session the following day. Event patrons are welcome to bring camping chairs and blankets. This is a 21 or older event and there will be no re-entry once inside the gates.
SATURDAY, JULY 19, 4 PM - 10 PM
LOCATION: THE GULCH $10
Nashville's newest summer block party features live music, food from local restaurants and trucks, and a great beer selection. Tickets include two free beers and admission to four live shows. Performances by Queen City Heist, BREE, Oliver and The Spectacles, Frances and The Foundation and Kansas Bible Company. Gulch Groove will take place on the third Saturday of every month through August on Gleaves Street and 9th Avenue South. Note: road closures associated with this event. Gleaves Street (8th Avenue South to 9th Avenue South) and 9th Avenue South (Division Street to Gleaves Street) will be closed beginning as early as 6 am on Saturday, July 19 to as late as 2 am on Sunday, July 20.
SUNDAY, JULY 20, 5:30 PM - 8 PM
LOCATION: CUMBERLAND PARK FREE
Enjoy live jazz on the third Sunday of every month through October. Joe Johnson will perform on Sunday, July 20 in the park's amphitheater. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome at this event. Food available for purchase from local food trucks.
Join Mayor Karl Dean in his citywide health challenge designed to encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to get regular physical activity. This 2.55 mile walk will begin at the AT&T Building and circle the heart of downtown Nashville. It will last approximately 45 minutes. Everyone is encouraged to sign up here but it is not required to be a part of the walk.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 11 AM - 1:30 PM
LOCATION: CHURCH STREET PARK FREE
Head to Church Street Park on your lunch break and enjoy a picnic in the park! Live entertainment beginning at 11:30 am. Plus, food available for purchase from Jonbalaya and Gigi's Cupcakes from 11 am - 1:30 pm. Or, bring your own lunch and enjoy eating outdoors while listening to great live music. Shaded tables and chairs will be set up for this event.

Nashville B-cycle
Enjoy summer with a ride on a Nashville B-cycle! More than 200 bright red bikes are located at 23 automated B-stations around town. 24-hour memberships are $5 and annual memberships are $50. Nashville B-cycle is priced for quick rides. After joining, you can take an unlimited number of rides during your membership period with no additional charge for the first hour of any ride. Usage fees apply for all rides that exceed one hour. Nashville B-cycle: bikes you love and leave!
