Artist’s Perspective: Tina Barney: The Europeans

Nashville Conference on African American History & Culture

The annual conference will focus this year on unsung heroes in Tennessee's cultural history from slavery through the 20th century. Guest speakers include Belmont University professor and noted author Dr. Sybril Bennett and Tennessee State University historian Dr. Carroll Van West. Plus, the Nashville Public Library’s Wishing Chair Productions will stage "Anasazi the Spider" in honor of the rich story-telling traditions of the African American community.

Hot Chocolate Run

The Hot Chocolate Run offers both a 5K (3.1 mile) and 15K (9.3 mile) course. Participants will receive a goodie bag featuring a his or hers zip pullover made of wicking fleece material. Plus, 15K runners will earn an official medal. Cupid's Undie Run

This Valentine’s Day, put the hilarity in charity with hundreds of Cupid's Undie Run participants taking to the streets in celebration of fundraising for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
