Fresh Art Friday

In collaboration with the Kentucky Folk Art Center at Morehead State University, The Arts Company presents "Contemporary Urban Folk Art From Kentucky: End of the Agrarian Tradition." Opening Day Lecture: Treasures from the House of Alba

For more than 500 years, the Alba family has formed part of the most important aristocratic lineages in Europe, not only because of its military, political and social significance, but also because of its patronage of the arts. Join Dr. Mark Roglán for a lecture exploring the historic and cultural legacy of the Alba family and the formation of its storied art collection, including renowned portraits by Francisco Goya. The Affair to Care

The Southeastern Young Alumni Charitable Foundation presents this Mardi Gras-themed bash. Tickets include all-inclusive food by some of Nashville's best local restaurants and vendors along with an open bar. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment by The Downtown Band and can participate in a silent auction featuring big-ticket items from Nashville’s hottest restaurants, spas/salons, sporting events, live music venues, boutiques and other local favorites. All proceeds will be donated to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

 

First Saturday Art Crawl

Fight For Air Climb

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 8 AM - 11 AM
LOCATION: FIFTH THIRD CENTER $35 REGISTRATION FEE; $100 FUNDRAISING MINIMUM

The Fight For Air Climb is a unique fundraising event where novice and expert athletes of all ages are welcome to climb/race up 29 flights of stairs, 638 steps and 460 vertical feet at the Fifth Third Center. Funds will go toward American Lung Association's life-saving education, research and advocacy efforts.
