308 Broadway. 615-254-5460. This three-level club on Lower Broadway offers live music on each level, a rooftop patio and a full menu. Hours are Monday - Sunday, 11 am - 3 am.

Street Food Thursdays

Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North every Thursday throughout the months of May and June!

 

Margaritaville Street Party

THURSDAY, MAY 26, 11 AM - 6 PM
LOCATION: JIMMY BUFFETT'S MARGARITAVILLE NASHVILLE FREE

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Nashville will host a street party to coincide with Jimmy Buffett’s concert at Ascend Amphitheater on Thursday, May 26. The party will be on Broadway between 3rd and 4th Avenue in front of the Margaritaville restaurant. The fun begins at 11 am with an all-day outdoor street party with interactive games, great food and drinks, and live entertainment by multiple bands including event headliner Jerrod Neimann. Plus, stop by for a chance to win tickets to Buffett's show that night.

 

Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony with Alabama & Sam Moore

THURSDAY, MAY 26, 1 PM
LOCATION: WALK OF FAME PARK FREE

Grammy-winning band Alabama and the legendary Sam Moore, the voice behind “Soul Man,” will receive stars on the Music City Walk of Fame during an induction ceremony on Thursday, May 26 at 1 pm in Walk of Fame Park. The newest group of inductees will receive the 71st and 72nd stars. Inductees are recognized for their significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville and for contributing to the world through song or other industry collaboration.

 

The MEND Experience

THURSDAY, MAY 26, 9 AM - NOON
LOCATION: BRIDGESTONE ARENA FREE

The MEND Experience is sponsored by Bank of America and will take place in the concourse at the Bridgestone Arena. This free event is a celebration of the work that men and women are doing in our community to end violence against women and girls, with a focus on the athletic community. Nashville Predators President & CEO Sean Henry will share how his organization is working in this effort, along with Vanderbilt Football Coach Derek Mason and TSU's Basketball Coach Dana Ford. Musical performance by critically acclaimed alt-country singer Brennin.

 

Curator's Perspective: Bellissima! The Italian Automotive Renaissance, 1945-1975

FRIDAY, MAY 27, 6:30 PM

After the deprivations of the Second World War, the world longed for a return to beauty and style. Italian automakers eagerly stepped in to fulfill consumers’ desire for fun and forward-looking cars that would fuel the dreams and aspirations of a generation of auto enthusiasts and designers. Join Ken Gross, guest curator of "Bellissima! The Italian Automobile Renaissance 1945-1975," to explore the stories behind the designers, coachbuilders and notable owners who made companies like Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Lamborghini household names.

 

Super Cool Fun Fest

SATURDAY, MAY 28, 4 PM - 9:30 PM
LOCATION: CUMBERLAND PARK $25 GENERAL ADMISSION; $70 VIP

The second annual Nashville '90s themed festival featuring live music by My So Called Band, food trucks, beer vendors and '90s inspired activities. General admission tickets are $25 (tickets do not include beer or food). VIP tickets are available and include all-you-can-drink beer, a souvenir cup, a separate beer line and 1-hour early entry. All proceeds will benefit Greenways for Nashville. 21+ event.

 

Honoring Veterans

SUNDAY, MAY 29, 9 AM - 10 AM
LOCATION: FIRST BAPTIST NASHVILLE FREE

Veterans, make plans to join First Baptist Nashville for this special service in the Fellowship Hall. You'll hear from Gary Beikrich, Vietnam War veteran and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. U.S. Congressman Jim Cooper will open the program. Refreshments provided. Free parking is available in the 7th Avenue South & McGavock lot (between Broadway and Demonbreun, next to Bridgestone Arena) from 9 am - 10 am. Veterans, spouses, friends, as well as the general public, are welcome.

 

Mardi Gras in May

Visit Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar for one of the biggest Memorial Day weekend parties! Enjoy live music all day long, a crawfish boil, food and drink specials, prizes and more at this annual event.

 

Hard Working Americans Block Party

MONDAY, MAY 30, 2 PM
LOCATION: THE DISTRICT FREE

Rootsy rock band Hard Working Americans are throwing a free block party on Memorial Day to celebrate the release of their latest record, "Rest in Chaos." Other artists scheduled to perform include Leftover Salmon, Tim O'Brien, Nick Forster and Bryan Sutton from Hot Rize, Sparkle City DJs, Rorey Carroll and Sophia Scott. The block party will also feature kid-friendly games. The event will take place beginning at 2 pm outside of Acme Feed & Seed at the corner of Broadway and 1st Avenue. The block party is presented by Lightning 100 and will raise funds for Blood:Water.
