Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North every Thursday through October.
Kick off the Independence Day holiday weekend with a free tour of the two new exhibits featuring Tennessee artists. Staff will be in the State Museum's Changing Galleries from 11 am to 1 pm to share some insight on the fine art photography of Benjamin Walls and the historic art of Lloyd Branson. The painting by Branson, "Gathering of the Overmountain Men at Sycamore Shoals," is a landmark in the history of Tennessee art and an important example of Revolutionary War memorialization.

Come and hang out with Music City Dream Cars to celebrate the July 4th weekend! There will be cars, cocktails, desserts and plenty of smiling faces. The event will be a great opportunity for networking, enjoying an open bar and just hanging out with your friends! Music will be provided by DJ Rich from Miami along with their friends from Welcome to Nashville. Food and cigars will be available. Proceeds from the event will go to the Oasis Center. There will be a $20 raffle for a chance to win a 24-hour exotic and luxury car rental. You can buy as many tickets as you want. 21+ event.

Art galleries throughout downtown host receptions and art openings every month. Most galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. See this month's gallery map. Enjoy live music on the performance platform along 5th Avenue North by Sonja Hopkins. There will also be a voter registration booth on the platform in front Tinney Contemporary. Plus, the Lane Motor Museum will have two of their cars from the Macchine Italiane: A Tour of Italy’s Motoring Spirit collection displayed on 5th Avenue North. Two Gray Line Art Crawl Downtown Trolleys will provide complimentary shuttle service along the route from 6 pm - 10 pm. Please note: road closure associated with this event. The southbound lane on 5th Avenue North (Church Street to Union Street) will be closed beginning as early as 5 pm and ending as late as 9 pm on Saturday, July 2. Bring the whole family – all generations of music lovers will thrill to the Nashville Symphony as they perform an evening of all-American classics and everyone's favorite patriotic tunes, joined by the 101st Airborne Division Band! Featured works include 1812 Overture, Yankee Doodle Dandy, Liberty Bell March, Servicemen on Parade, American Salute and more. Arrive early beginning at 5 pm and enjoy food trucks on Symphony Place.
This year's Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th Celebration will feature one of the largest fireworks displays in the country. The main concert will be staged at Ascend Amphitheater (new location this year). The July 4 events begin at noon with the free Family Fun Zone along with event vendors and live pre-show music until 5 pm. The main stage concert kicks off at 5 pm and features performances by Sheryl Crow, Rayland Baxter, Maddie & Tae, Erin McCarley, Andrew Combs, Ruby Amanfu and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. The celebration concludes at approximately 9:35 pm with the longest and largest fireworks display in the city's history choreographed to the sounds of the Nashville Symphony. Riverfront Park will be open for viewing the fireworks display where video screens and audio will also be available. Music City July 4th Celebration fireworks show. Cover is $10 all day for the first three floors (there will be no rooftop access due to a private event).
Come on down to Broadway's only brewery for Rock Bottom's annual 4th of July celebration on the rooftop! Enjoy live music from some of Nashville's best local artists and a spectacular view of the fireworks—all while sipping on the freshest handcrafted beer on Broadway. Doors open at 3 pm.
