Its menu options include a beer program exclusively featuring Southern breweries, an extensive wine list, refreshing cocktails and Southern small plates. Hours of operation are Sunday - Thursday, 3 pm - midnight and Friday - Saturday, 3 pm - 2 am.




New Coffee Shop: Killebrew!

Lunch & Learn: Battle of Franklin Little Known Facts


THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 12:15 PM - 12:45 PM

Museum Curator Richard White presents "Five Things You Probably Don’t Know about the Battle of Franklin, But Should." The battle was not typical in terms of Civil War engagements, and this discussion will center on the unique character of the confrontation. There will be something of interest to everyone. Bring your lunch to the museum and eat during the entertaining program.

Free Admission for Veterans & Military Community on Veterans Day



In recognition of the service, commitment and dedication of the American military community, the Frist Center is offering free admission for veterans, active-duty, retired, Reserve and National Guard service members, and their families on Veterans Day 2016. Visitors need only to identify themselves to any member of the Visitor Services staff as veterans or service members to gain free admission on Friday, November 11. Visitors will also have the opportunity to watch the Veterans Day Parade from the Frist Center’s Broadway terrace.


Veterans Day Parade



This annual event is one of the South's largest Veterans Day parades. The family-friendly celebration honors Nashville's military community and includes floats, antique cars, local military groups and supporters, local businesses and charities, and nearby high schools' marching bands. The 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division Band, Honor Guard and Troop element will lead the parade down Broadway from 14th Avenue to 3rd Avenue. Please note: road closures associated with this event. Broadway (14th Avenue to 1st Avenue) will be closed from as early as 10:30 am until as late as 2 pm on Friday, November 11.


Nashville Half Marathon, Marathon & 5K


LOCATION: THE DISTRICT 5K: $45 - $50; HALF MARATHON: $95 - $100; MARATHON: $105 - $110

Whether an out-of-towner or a lifelong local, runners will love this route that goes through some of Nashville's most beautiful and historic scenery in The Gulch, downtown, East Nashville and other neighborhoods. Half or full marathon course option available, as well as a 5K route. The run begins at Broadway and 1st Avenue. Following the run, participants will be rewarded with music, food and complimentary Shock Top beer at a block party. Please note: road closures associated with this event. Roads along the course will be closed beginning as early as 7 am until as late as 3 pm on Saturday, November 12. Plus, Broadway at 1st Avenue will be closed from 6 pm on Friday, November 11 until 3 pm on Saturday, November 12. Click here to view the full route as well as all road closures associated with the event.


Putt-Putt Golf Pub Crawl



Join the American Cancer Society Young Professionals of Nashville on Broadway for a nine-hole putt-putt tournament at some of downtown's best bars! Check-in will be at Tequila Cowboy, and teams will get scorecards and maps with details of all participating bars, including The Valentine, George Jones Museum, Tin Roof Broadway and more. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.



Hats off to High Hopes



Matthew Ramsey and Trevor Rosen, members of Old Dominion, the ACM and ACCA Breakthrough Duo/Group of the Year, join Grammy Award-winning artist Tim Nichols on the stage of the Mother Church for the 19th annual Hats off to High Hopes. Additional Grammy winners Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne as well as acclaimed artist Matt Jenkins will also perform. The event seeks to raise awareness and funds for High Hopes Development Center, which serves children with special needs and their families.

This outrageous musical comedy follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries sent halfway across the world to spread the good word. Now with standing room only productions in London, on Broadway and across North America, "The Book of Mormon" has truly become an international sensation.

Who Knew presents The Pitch: An Evening with Music Supervisors


TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Who Knew will present The Pitch: An Evening With Music Supervisors on Tuesday, November 15 at City Winery. The event will mirror last year’s hugely successful Pitch event that featured music supervisors representing television, film, trailers, video games and advertising listening to live bands perform their material in hopes that a song may be selected for a synch placement right on the spot.

During Bridgestone Arena events, park for free at Nissan Stadium Lot R. Optional round-trip shuttle service is $3 per person with a convenient drop-off point near the arena. Click here for details.
