The Wild Feathers will be performing three special shows at Ernest Tubb Record Shop Thursday, December 1 - Saturday, December 3! This is in celebration of their new Black Friday album release "Live At The Ryman." Admission is free with purchase of the new album.
A long-running Christmas tradition, the Waffle Shop will serve homemade waffles, turkey hash, Southern grits, linked sausages, spiced tea and coffee. Plus, the event will include live music, a silent auction, baked goods sale and gift shop. All proceeds benefit the homeless ministries of the Downtown Presbyterian Church. Call 615-254-7584.

Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North! This event will take place every other Thursday November through March. Please note: If the high is not above 40 degrees on the day of the event, the event will be canceled.

You're invited to attend the Metro Nashville Christmas Tree Lighting at Public Square! Mayor Megan Barry will be joined by rising Nashville star Margo Price at the annual event. In addition to a short acoustic performance by Price, attendees will enjoy holiday-themed selections from the West End United Methodist Church, W.O Smith School and Nashville School of the Arts choirs. Joining in the fun will be mascots from the Nashville Predators, Nashville Sounds and Tennessee Titans. Hot beverages and snacks will be generously provided by The DISTRICT Nashville.

Experience the traditions of Christmas at The Hermitage Hotel's Holiday Festival! Following the Metro Christmas Tree Lighting at Public Square, The Hermitage will offer complimentary hot chocolate and treats to the public, along with old fashioned carolers, holiday cocktails in the Oak Bar and photos with Santa himself. Also, head to the hotel on Saturday for a holiday brunch after the Nashville Christmas Parade that morning.

Middle Tennessee farmland once fed Nashville, and it will again. As a peak year-end event fostering this change, the Tennessee Local Food Summit is Friday, December 2 - Sunday, December 4 and will be held at Tennessee State University‘s downtown Avon Williams Campus. The three-day event will feature Nashville’s best chefs offering delicious, locally grown organic meals during a full day of educational workshops, networking and the celebration of another great growing season.

Be a part of one of Nashville's favorite holiday traditions! Approximately 2,000 people will dress in their best holiday costumes and make their way along this 5K course to kick off the 63rd Annual Nashville Christmas Parade. Holiday-themed goodies and snacks will be provided after the race. The start and finish line is by Nissan Stadium. Please note: road closures associated with this event. Closures include the Woodland Street Bridge, Union Street (1st Avenue North to 2nd Avenue North), 2nd Avenue North (Union Street to Broadway), Broadway (2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue), 3rd Avenue South (Broadway to Symphony Place), the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and surrounding Nissan Stadium streets. The 63rd annual Nashville Christmas Parade celebrates “The Musical Mile." Kelly Clarkson is this year's grand marshal. Along with Clarkson, this year’s parade will feature entertainment by Jo Dee Messina, Gavin DeGraw and many more. The route will begin at the intersection of 8th Avenue and Broadway, heading east down Broadway to 2nd Avenue, crossing over the Cumberland River and ending at the base of the Woodland Street Bridge. The parade, hosted by Piedmont Natural Gas, will benefit Piedmont's Share the Warmth program as well as the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Please note: road closures associated with this event.
Friday, December 2 (for parade rehearsals and additional set-up):
- The intersection of Broadway and 5th Avenue will be closed from 9 am - 4 pm on Friday, December 2
Saturday, December 3 (parade day):
- Broadway (16th Avenue to 1st Avenue) will be closed from 5 am - 8:30 am on Saturday, December 3
- Side streets from Demonbreun to Church Street will start closing systematically (along with 2nd Avenue) beginning at 6 am on Saturday, December 3
- Woodland Street Bridge to Interstate Drive will be closed beginning at 8 am on Saturday, December 3
- The remaining parade route will re-open behind the last parade element on a rolling basis as the parade progresses to the base of the Woodland Street Bridge from 10 am - 11:30 am on Saturday, December 3

Union Station Hotel is partnering with the Nashville Fashion Alliance for a holiday shopping pop-up event on Saturday, December 3 from 10 am - 2 pm in the hotel’s grand lobby. Shop local Nashville vendors and unique holiday gifts while enjoying complimentary sips and bites from Carter’s, the new bar and restaurant at Union Station Hotel.

Hart and Huntington opened its doors in Nashville in August, but now is the time for its grand opening bash! Saturday, December 3 will feature two celebrations. First, visit Hart & Huntington Tattoo Co. Nashville for a meet and greet and autograph signing with owner Carey Hart (Freestyle Motocross legend) from 2 pm - 5 pm. Then, head to Hard Rock Cafe's rooftop for an after party from 8 pm - 1 am!

The Nashville Predators are kicking off a December family double-header on Saturday, December 3 as they take on the New Jersey Devils at 1 pm. Every fan in attendance will receive a Preds hat. At the conclusion of the 63rd Annual Nashville Christmas Parade at 11 am, the party will begin on the Bridgestone Arena plaza featuring a DJ, face painters, kids games, stilt walkers, jugglers and more! As an added bonus, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus clown noses will be handed out on the concourse during the game to celebrate the upcoming Circus XTREME at Bridgestone Arena December 8 - 11.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 4 PM - 10 PM

TPAC will host its first-ever Winter Holiday Fest Marketplace at War Memorial Auditorium. The marketplace will provide an opportunity to shop local artisan vendors specializing in hand-crafted decorative items, glass and pottery, handmade candles, collectibles, fabric art, jewelry and more in a holiday environment featuring live musical performances, specialty food and beverages, arts and crafts, and free photo opportunities with characters and props from Nashville Ballet's “Nashville’s Nutcracker” and Nashville Repertory Theatre's “A Christmas Story.” This event is presented in conjunction with the First Saturday Art Crawl. The marketplace is a part of TPAC's Winter Holiday Fest, a celebration of the performing arts throughout the holiday season.

The Wonderful Life Foundation invites you to be its guest for an afternoon of holiday cheer! Join for a family-friendly afternoon of festivities starting at 2 pm. They'll have crafts for the kids, a wine pull for the adults and a hot chocolate bar for all to enjoy. Snap a photo with Santa before concluding the event with a special screening of the film "It's a Wonderful Life." The movie begins at 4 pm.

Prohibition was repealed on December 5, 1933 at 5:32 pm. Join the Frist Center as it celebrates the end of prohibition with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails mixed by renowned Nashville bartenders. In this talk, Curator of History Rob DeHart will take attendees on a tour through Christmases past. Featuring unique holiday items from as far back as the 19th century, you'll learn how these past cultures expressed themselves during this festive time of year. Bring your lunch to enjoy during the talk. Christmas cookies will be provided! The event will take place on B Level of the museum in front of the stage and will last about 30 minutes.
