New restaurant: Little Octopus!
505 12th Avenue South. 615-454-3946. This new restaurant in The Gulch moved from East Nashville. Serving dinner throughout the week and brunch on Sundays, the menu includes a wide variety of options. Hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 5 pm - 10 pm and Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, 5 pm - 10 pm.

Street Food Thursdays

 

THURSDAY, JANUARY 26, 11 AM - 2 PM

Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North! This event will take place every other Thursday November through March. Please note: If the high is not above 40 degrees on the day of the event, the event will be canceled.

 

The Music of David Bowie with the Nashville Symphony

With his unique style and his uncanny ability to reinvent himself in a career spanning five decades, David Bowie penned some of rock ’n’ roll’s most beloved classics. Celebrate this iconic artist as the Nashville Symphony, a full rock band and Broadway singer Tony Vincent perform all your Bowie favorites, including "Ziggy Stardust," "Space Oddity," "Rebel Rebel" and many more.

 

Perfect Pairs Chef Series: Maneet Chauhan & Deb Paquette

Maneet Chauhan is welcoming some of Nashville's finest chefs into her kitchen for a special event series at Chauhan Ale & Masala House called Perfect Pairs. The monthly series takes place on the last Saturday of each month and allows Chef Chauhan and fellow chefs to explore new cuisines and incorporate them into a special three-course menu for guests to enjoy. For each course, the chefs will choose one ingredient to prepare in two unique ways, focusing on the versatility of fresh and seasonal fare, resulting in six dishes to savor. Saturday, January 28 will feature Chef Deb Paquette from Etch and Etc.

Music Masters: Interview with Producer Dave Cobb

Georgia-reared Dave Cobb has invigorated contemporary country and Americana music with his production of acclaimed albums including Chris Stapleton’s "Traveller," Jason Isbell’s "Southeastern" and "Something More Than Free," Sturgill Simpson’s "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music" and the multi-artist concept collection "Southern Family." The producer of Grammy and CMA award winners, Cobb is the Academy of Country Music’s producer of the year. He has worked with numerous notables, including Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Lori McKenna and Brent Cobb. This program will be illustrated with photos, film footage and recordings.‚Äč

 

Amsoil Arenacross

Amsoil Arenacross is the most intense motorsport on the planet. A full contact sport, where the weak inherit the dirt. Acme Unplugged

Join Acme Feed & Seed on Monday, January 30 for another round of Acme Unplugged presented by Wrangler Western. Every month, gather in The Hatchery to celebrate the real people behind some of music's biggest hits—the songwriters themselves. This session will feature Josh Hoge, Rob Hatch and Lance Miller, who have written songs for Chris Young, Miranda Lambert, Faith Hill, Lee Brice, Tim McGraw and many others.

 

Vine & Brew Kick-off Party

 

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 5 PM - 8 PM
LOCATION: TENNESSEE BREW WORKS FREE

Beginning Thursday, February 2, City Winery wine will be available on-tap at neighborhood taproom Tennessee Brew Works! To celebrate, both are hosting a Vine & Brew neighborhood kick-off party at the Tennessee Brew Works taproom. Free and open to the public, the event on Thursday, February 2 starts at 5 pm and will feature local beers and wines on tap, music from local band Buck n Stuff, and bites prepared by City Winery Executive Chef Garrett Pittler and Tennessee Brew Works Chef Jay Mitchell.
