Road Closures: President Trump Visiting Nashville Today

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15

Please note: downtown Nashville will experience heavy traffic during the afternoon commute on Wednesday, March 15 due to President Trump's event at Nashville Municipal Auditorium at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 3:30 pm. Road closures are as follows for Wednesday, March 15:

- 5th Avenue North (Charlotte Avenue to James Robertson Parkway) will close at noon
- Gay Street (James Robertson Parkway to 5th Avenue North) will close at noon
- James Robertson Parkway (3rd Avenue North to 5th Avenue North) will close at 3 pm
- James Robertson Parkway (Interstate Drive to Rosa Parks Boulevard) will close at 3 pm
- I-24/I-40 will be shut down at times between the airport and downtown (and perhaps further east than the airport due to the President's visit to The Hermitage). These closures will lead to extra congestion on the rest of the interstates in the downtown loop.

Plus, Music City Central (Nashville MTA's transit station) will temporarily operate out of Music City Center (201 5th Avenue South) beginning at 9:45 am on Wednesday, March 15 until the end of service that day. NOTE: 6th Avenue between Demonbreun and Korean Veterans Blvd. will be closed to through traffic, as well.
