The SoBro Apartments is hosting a musical talent competition. They are looking for one up-and-coming Nashville artist to live in The SoBro rent-free and provide in-house musical entertainment for residents for one year. Do you think you have what it takes or know someone who might be a good fit? Post a one-minute (or less) video on Facebook or Instagram by Monday, April 3 and use the hashtag #TheSoBroStar. The 31st annual Southern Women's Show is back! More than 500 exhibits will feature fashion and accessories, gifts and gourmet, travel destinations and more. Kellie Pickler will appear on Friday, March 31, Keegan Allen from "Pretty Little Liars" on Saturday, April 1 and Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez on Sunday, April 2. Plus, the event will also include hourly fashion shows, cooking programs and informative seminars.

Join The Arts Company for Cocktails & Conversation featuring 2017 Nashville Fashion Forward Fund Recipient Brett Warren speaking about his exhibit "Photography Emporium." The exhibit will explore the world of engineering prints, using a special technique in order to apply marbled abstract color to the existing colorless prints. The pop-up exhibit will be featured at The Arts Company during the First Saturday Art Crawl on April 1, and it will continue for two weeks through April 15. For the 11th anniversary of this popular annual event, Nashville's most accomplished musicians will fill Christ Church Cathedral with music by J.S. Bach, interpreted in traditional and creative ways. Refreshments and souvenirs will be on sale.

Join a public event to commemorate U.S. entry into World War I on Thursday, April 6 at noon in the courtyard of the War Memorial Building. A declaration day ceremony will honor all Tennesseans who served in WWI, which began on April 6, 1917. It will also recognize the more than 3,400 Tennessee soldiers who lost their lives during the war. In September 1925, the War Memorial Building was dedicated to commemorate those who served.
