New museum: Patsy Cline Museum!
119 3rd Avenue South, 2nd Floor. 615-454-4722. This new museum is located above the Johnny Cash Museum in SoBro. The museum celebrates the life of Patsy Cline and features hundreds of artifacts, personal belongings, videos and more. The museum also has a gift shop. Hours of operation for the museum and store are Monday - Sunday, 9 am - 7 pm.

April marks the 100th anniversary of America’s entry into the World War I. Join Tennessee State Museum's Senior Curator of Military History Dr. Lisa M. Budreau as she recognizes some of Tennessee’s famous soldiers, along with some lesser-known names who, together, fought and died in this war that was supposed to end all wars. Her talk will also consider how these Tennesseans are remembered both at home and abroad, ensuring that General John J. Pershing’s words ring true: “Time will not dim the glory of their deeds.”
Tibet, Japan and Korea all practice a form of esoteric or “secret” Buddhism. Called Vajrayana Buddhism, this form utilizes works of art that reveal a complex array of both human and divine figures. Join coordinating curator Katie Delmez to discover the powerful meanings behind their arresting visuals. This program is held in conjunction with "Secrets of Buddhist Art: Tibet, Japan and Korea."

Downtown Home Tour
Our annual downtown home tour is next weekend (Sunday, April 23)! Nine residential buildings are featured including private residences, condos for sale and apartments for rent. Tour tickets are on sale now and are $10 (ages 17 and under are free). Check out this video that showcases a few locations on this year's tour.

Getting around downtown is easy!
