"Sgt. Pepper's" 50th anniversary tribute! The world's best orchestral Beatles tribute celebrates the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest albums ever made. The four musicians in Classical Mystery Tour look and sound just like John, Paul, George and Ringo, and they’ll perform all your favorite Beatles tunes, enhanced by the sound of a full orchestra, including "St. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "With a Little Help From My Friends," "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," "Got to Get You Into My Life" and many more.

Kicking off Monday, May 1, the Nashville Food Truck Association (NFTA) will celebrate its fifth annual Nashville Street Food Month. Running through the entire month of May, Nashville Street Food Month celebrates Nashville’s street food scene and the beginning of food truck season. With more than 80 NFTA members, the number of food trucks in Nashville is at an all-time high. The public will find food trucks serving at various events and sites all month long, many offering seasonal menu specials. The NFTA will promote daily events on Facebook and Twitter throughout the month of May. The unofficial kick-off event will take place on Thursday, May 4 at Street Food Thursday! Please note: road closure associated with this event. Deaderick Street (4th Avenue North to 5th Avenue North) will be closed from 9 am until 2 pm on the day of the event.

Dance, songwriting, live music, orchestration and storytelling combine into one during the world premiere of "Seven Deadly Sins." Three Nashville arts organizations—Nashville Ballet, Ten Out of Tenn and the Nashville Symphony—team up for a thoughtful examination of the temptations we face every day, the choices we make and the hopeful path to redemption when we falter. "Seven Deadly Sins" features all-new music played live by singer-songwriter collective Ten Out of Tenn and the Nashville Symphony. In "Appalachian Spring," Nashville Ballet Artistic Director & CEO Paul Vasterling presents an abstract interpretation of Aaron Copland’s iconic score that explores the strength, tenacity and creative spirit of women.

Pay homage to the margarita while sticking to a Nashville staple. Arnold's Country Kitchen has teamed up with Cayman Jack to bring a fiesta to Nashville! On this day only, Arnold’s will be open for dinner hours in celebration of the holiday, serving up Cayman Jack margaritas and a brand-new Chef Kahlil Arnold creation—the Southern Tennessee Tostada. This unique, Southern-style take on a Mexican classic consists of a buttery cornbread hoecake topped with beef brisket, coleslaw, pinto beans and a Cayman Jack BBQ sauce. A refreshing margarita courtesy of Cayman Jack will also be given to all who attend. The complimentary pairing will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and drinks will only be available to those aged 21+ while supplies last.

Saint Anejo will be celebrating in true M Street style all day on Cinco de Mayo. Starting at 4 pm, they'll be opening The Rosewall next door for continued Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Six chefs will be crafting their own take on Cinco de Mayo tacos for guests to enjoy while listening to DJ music and snapping memories in the photo booth. The party continues throughout the weekend with DJ music and photo booths on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7. To finish off the weekend, they'll be hosting the weekly Sunday day party, #SolSessions, featuring recording artist Dee Jay Silver.
Art galleries throughout downtown host receptions and art openings every month. Most galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. Enjoy live music by Sonja Hopkins at the performance platform on 5th Avenue North near Frothy Monkey, along with a photo booth outside of The Arts Company. New to the Crawl this month, there will be a second performance platform featuring music by Ryan Creamer at the Fifth Third Center plaza. Plus, take a look into Nashville's tallest residential tower, 505, through the lens of photographer Bill Hobbs inside the Fifth Third Center lobby (a new Art Crawl stop this month!). The Nashville Farmers' Market is kicking off its 2017 peak growing season with Mayor Megan Barry at the 3rd Annual Strawberry Jubilee on Saturday, May 6! This is the Nashville area’s premier opportunity to taste the sweetest, locally grown Tennessee strawberries of the season, and to take home every quantity from pints to full flats for freezing, canning, ice cream making and, of course, plenty of snacking. Strawberry Jubilee at the Nashville Farmers’ Market will feature a free strawberry tasting table, a kids' strawberry eating contest, a strawberry cake contest, live music, food trucks, local farmers and lots of fun for the entire family. The inaugural Nashville Taco Fest will take place in the Nissan Stadium parking lots on both Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7 from noon - 8 pm each day. Events and activities include the best taco competition, taco trucks and vendors, a taco eating competition, a salsa dance tent, a margarita competition, live music, Mariachi bands, a kids' zone and much more.

Nashville’s second annual Downtown Derby Bed Race is a competition where teams build and decorate their own “beds” to race up 5th Avenue to Bridgestone Plaza all in support of cancer research. The winning team will be presented with a trophy at a post-race ceremony at Bridgestone Plaza. Plus, awards for “Technical Ingenuity,” “Best Decorated” and “Best in Spirit" will be presented. The "Shining Star" award will be given to the individual who raises the most money through online fundraising. Proceeds benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation, whose mission is to fund innovative leukemia, cancer and AIDS research at flagship hospitals in the United States. Featuring a 3.1-mile course, this fundraising event serves as the season-ending achievement for Girls on the Run of Middle Tennessee, a nonprofit that seeks to inspire, educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect, positive relationships and healthy active living. Please note: road closures associated with this event. The course begins and ends at Nissan Stadium Lot R (under the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge), traveling into East Nashville. Downtown road closures only include surrounding Nissan Stadium streets. Closures begin as early as 8 am and end as late as 10 am on Saturday, May 6. Click here to view the course.
The Frist Center is welcoming back the Mystical Arts of Tibet, a touring company of monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery (exiled from Tibet and currently based in South India), to complete the sand mandala ritual. During the closing ceremony, which will begin at 4:30 pm, the monks will dismantle the mandala, sweeping up the colored sands to symbolize the impermanence of all that exists. The rite, which will be accompanied by multiphonic chant and music, will end with a procession from the Frist Center to the Cumberland River, where the monks will pour the sand into the water, dispersing the healing energies of the mandala throughout the world. This ceremony will conclude this Frist's Free Family Festival Day. Please note: road closure associated with this event. Broadway (10th Avenue to 1st Avenue) will be closed from approximately 3:30 pm until 5 pm on Sunday, May 7.
