CMA Music Festival

THURSDAY, JUNE 8 - SUNDAY, JUNE 11
LOCATION: NISSAN STADIUM

CMA Music Festival is four days of concerts and events! Nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium feature the big-name artists, daily concerts at Riverfront Park star well-known and up-and-coming artists, and Fan Fair X at Music City Center offers autograph signings and photos of the artists, shopping, live music and more. Take part in all of the free festivities offered this year including the free concerts at Riverfront Park! Additional free areas include the Chevrolet Park Stage at Walk of Fame Park, Budweiser Forever Country Park Stage located in the park area behind Ascend Amphitheater, Gildan Broadway Stage at Hard Rock Cafe, Music City Stage inside the Nashville Visitor Center at Bridgestone Arena and HGTV Lodge in front of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The free activities don’t end when the sun goes down! NEW this year, CMA Fest now offers nighttime music experiences for fans without a four-day pass to the Nissan Stadium concerts. The Cracker Barrel Country Roads Stage at Ascend Amphitheater is free to the public and will hold nightly performances Thursday - Saturday. Nashville Predators Stanley Cup Finals: Game 5 Watch Party and Outdoor Viewing Options

THURSDAY, JUNE 8, PARTY STARTS: 3:30 PM; GAME STARTS: 7 PM
LOCATION: BRIDGESTONE ARENA $15 FOR THE ARENA EVENT; FREE FOR THE STREET PARTY

Fans will get to cheer on the Nashville Predators during the Stanley Cup finals away game on Thursday, June 8 at Bridgestone Arena, complete with pre-game on-ice projection, intermission entertainment and more! Join Gnash and the Nashville Predators Energy Team beginning at 3:30 pm for a plaza party. The doors will open at 4 pm for general admission seating. Tickets are available for the Bridgestone Arena Game 5 viewing party for a $15 donation to the Nashville Predators Foundation. You may also upgrade to enjoy all you can eat and drink at Pete & Terry’s All-Inclusive Zone for $50. Beginning at 4 pm, Names on the Cup will be shown on the Megatron, followed by NBC Sports’ pre-game coverage at 6 pm and Game 5 at 7 pm. Plus, screens on the plaza will be set up for viewing. Also, the city will host a free street party on Broadway between 4th Avenue and 7th Avenue featuring two giant screens, one at 4th Avenue and one between 5th and 6th Avenue. The site opens at 5 pm. The event site has been adjusted to accommodate the CMA Music Festival footprint. NOTE: road closures associated with these events. Broadway will be closed from 4th Avenue to 7th Avenue from Thursday, June 8 at 4 pm* until Monday, June 12 at 6 am*. The cross streets: 4th, 5th (north of Broadway only), 6th and 7th will remain open during these closures. Game 5 Viewing Party at City Winery


THURSDAY, JUNE 8, DOORS AT 6 PM, GAME AT 7 PM

Street Food Thursdays

THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 11 AM - 2 PM

Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North! This event takes place every Thursday. Please note: road closure associated with this event. Deaderick Street (4th Avenue North to 5th Avenue North) will be closed from 9 am until 2 pm on the day of the event.

 

City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game

SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 11 AM
LOCATION: FIRST TENNESSEE PARK $35

A 27-year tradition in Nashville during the CMA Music Festival, City of Hope’s Celebrity Softball Game regularly features some of country music’s biggest and hottest stars and beyond. This year, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kellie Pickler, Bobby Bones, Sara Evans, Craig Morgan, The Swon Brothers, Jessie James Decker joined by her husband and NFL player Eric Decker, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth from ABC’s “The Bachelorette," Todd, Savannah and Chase Chrisley of USA's "Chrisley Knows Best" and many more will take to the field in support of City of Hope’s lifesaving mission. Reba McEntire will sing the National Anthem. For the first time this year, City of Hope will involve legendary artists as play-by-play announcers. The first round of artists to participate include Brenda Lee, Lee Greenwood, Jeannie Seely and Tim Rushlow.

 

Nashville Predators Stanley Cup Finals

SUNDAY, JUNE 11, 7 PM
LOCATION: BRIDGESTONE ARENA

The Nashville Predators are in the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in franchise history! Smashville hosted the Stanley Cup finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Bridgestone Arena for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday, June 3 and Monday, June 5. The Preds will return to Nashville for Game 6 at Bridgestone Arena on Sunday, June 11.

 

Nashville Predators Stanley Cup Finals: Game 6 Watch Parties

SUNDAY, JUNE 11, SITE OPENS: 4 PM; GAME AT 7 PM
LOCATION: LOWER BROADWAY

Fans will get to cheer on the Nashville Predators during the Stanley Cup finals home game on Sunday, June 11 at three areas downtown: Broadway, Walk of Fame Park and Ascend Amphitheater. The free street party on Broadway will be held between 4th Avenue and 7th Avenue and features three giant screens. The Broadway site will open at 4 pm. The event site has been adjusted to accommodate the CMA Music Festival footprint. Ascend Amphitheater and Walk of Fame Park will be open and free to attend and will also have large screens. Once CMA Music Festival activities conclude at Walk of Fame Park and Ascend, those venues will be available for the Preds party. Food trucks will be on site, and sodas and beers will be on sale. Bottled water and hot dogs will be available at low, family-friendly prices. NOTE: road closures associated with these events. Music City Star Train Tickets for Stanley Cup Finals

SUNDAY, JUNE 11
LOCATION: RIVERFRONT STATION $15

Going to the Stanley Cup finals or the viewing party downtown? In celebration of the Nashville Predators in the Stanley Cup finals, the Regional Transportation Authority of Middle Tennessee will offer rides on the Music City Star for the upcoming home game on Sunday, June 11. An allotment of 700 tickets will be available to the general public on the Smashville Express train. Tickets must be acquired in advance and are $15/person. Children age 4 and younger will not need a ticket to board, however, they will be required to sit in a parent’s lap. Weekday Music City Star tickets and passes are not accepted on the Smashville Express train.. 

 

MTA Public Meetings on Proposed Fare & Service Changes

THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 11 AM - 12:30 PM
LOCATION: MUSIC CITY CENTER FREE

The Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) will hold public meetings to discuss this fall’s semi-annual system changes and Nashville Mayor Megan Barry’s State of Metro call to “eliminate transfer fees” for riders. Public meetings to gather feedback on the proposed changes and to answer questions will take place on both Thursday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 20 at the Music City Center (Community Meeting Room). Several road closures are planned throughout downtown for Music City Gives Back (Tuesday, June 6), CMT Music Awards (Wednesday, June 7) and CMA Music Festival (Thursday, June 8 - Sunday, June 11). This list is organized by the date the closures begin. The end date is different for each road and is indicated below. Most roads are closed for multiple days. All closures will be lifted by 7 pm on Monday, June 12.
