Oak Steakhouse - now open for lunch!
801 Clark Place. The Westin Nashville. 615-902-3111. Oak Steakhouse is now open for lunch from 11 am to 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Additionally, they are open for dinner every day of the week.
New dessert option: Tiff's Treats!
137 12th Avenue North. 629-209-3300. This new dessert shop offers cookies, brownies and more. They have a small shop downtown and can delivery many of their treats straight to your door.
New bar and restaurant: Geist!
311 Jefferson Street. 615-920-5440. This new restaurant is located in a blacksmith show circa 1886. While dining at this new hot spot, admire the renovation of one of the city’s oldest buildings. Plus, enjoy the Champagne Garden, a full garden and courtyard with an outdoor cooking stove.
Events This Week
Downtown Presbyterian Church's Holy Week schedule includes Maundy Thursday service at 7 pm. On Easter Sunday, the morning includes an indoor Easter egg hunt at 9:50 am for the children and continues with worship at 11 am in the sanctuary. Free parking available at the 4th & Commerce Garage for church attendees.
Holy Week at St. Mary's Catholic Church includes Mass of the Lord's Supper on Thursday at 7 pm, Good Friday service at 3 pm and Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday at 7:30 pm. Mass on Easter Sunday will be at 9 am and noon.
McKendree United Methodist Church's Holy Week offerings feature a Maundy Thursday service at 6:30 pm and two Good Friday service options: a noon service and an evening worship at 6:30 pm. Easter worship celebrations on Sunday are at 6:30 am, 9 am and 11 am.

Holy Week services include Maundy Thursday Holy Eucharist with foot-washing and stripping of the altar at 6 pm and Good Friday service at noon (nave open for prayer from 1 pm - 3 pm). Plus, Holy Saturday offerings include liturgy at 10 am and Great Vigil of Easter service at 7 pm. Christ Church Cathedral will offer Easter Sunday Holy Eucharist services at 7 am, 8:30 am and 11 am. Or attend a Sunday evening liturgy, Breaking Bread, at 6 pm.

Berenice Denton Estate Sales presents a rare opportunity to visit a historic Nashville site, the original Federal Reserve Building at 226 3rd Avenue North on March 29, 30, and March 31. Built in 1921, the building features classic architecture and historical elements of the former occupants such as the bank vault that retains the scent of the millions of dollars that had been stored there. This extensive estate sale features fine furniture, upscale office furnishings, original art by national and regional artists, political memorabilia and a vast music collection and library. On Thursday, March 29 the sale will stay open until 8 pm. Refreshments will be served from 4 pm until 8 pm.

Deaderick Street (4th Avenue North to 5th Avenue North) will be closed from 10 am - 2:30 pm on the day of the event. NOTE: the food trucks will return to Deaderick from 11 am to 2 pm every Tuesday and Thursday through December 13, 2018. This event is now called Street Eats and was formerly called Street Food Thursdays.

The Titans are unveiling new uniforms in downtown Nashville. Festivities begin with a pre-party at FGL House at 4 pm. Please note: there are road closures associated with this event. Lower Broadway will close to traffic and open to the party beginning at 5:30 pm. The uniform unveiling will begin around 7:30 pm with multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line performing a free concert immediately following in the street. The stage will be set up at 1st and Broadway. The party will continue with fireworks at 9 pm.
