CMA Fest


THURSDAY, JUNE 7 - SUNDAY, JUNE 10
LOCATION: NISSAN STADIUM AND ADDITIONAL DOWNTOWN VENUES

CMA Fest is four days of concerts and events! Nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium feature the big-name artists, daily concerts at Riverfront Park star well-known and up-and-coming artists, and Fan Fair X at Music City Center offers autograph signings and photos of the artists, shopping, live music and more. Take part in all of the free festivities offered this year including the free concerts at Riverfront Park! Additional free areas include the Chevrolet Park Stage at Walk of Fame Park, Budweiser Forever Country Park Stage located in the park area behind Ascend Amphitheater, Maui Jim Broadway Stage at Hard Rock Cafe, Nashville Acoustic Corner Stage inside the Nashville Visitor Center at Bridgestone Arena and HGTV Lodge at Fan Alley. The free activities don’t end when the sun goes down! CMA Fest also offers nighttime music experiences for fans without a four-day pass to the Nissan Stadium concerts. The Cracker Barrel Country Roads Stage at Ascend Amphitheater is free to the public and will hold nightly performances Thursday - Saturday. MuttNation Foundation Adoption Rig

 

THURSDAY, JUNE 7 - SUNDAY, JUNE 10, 11 AM - 3 PM
LOCATION: MUSIC CITY CENTER

For the third consecutive year, Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation will be entertaining CMA Fest® fans with Music City’s cutest canines, all available for adoption to caring, qualified families. Partnering with Nashville Humane Association, MuttNation will have adorable adoptables available each day from 11 am – 3 pm at the MuttNation rig located at Fan Fair X inside the Music City Center. Bev Lambert, Miranda’s mom and co-founder of MuttNation Foundation, will be on-site to have photos taken with each adopting family. With MuttNation’s support, more than 100 shelter dogs have been rescued by country music fans at CMA Fest over the past two years.

 

Ty Herndon & Friends: The Concert for Love and Acceptance

Award-winning recording artist Ty Herndon’s Concert for Love & Acceptance, a benefit concert for GLAAD, will bring together musicians and celebrities for a night of entertainment and a good cause.Cody Alan, host of CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown, producer of iHeartRadio’s CMT After Midnite and CMT Radio Live, will serve as host for the event that will feature performances from Herndon, along with Terri Clark, Cassadee Pope, Michael Ray, Calum Scott and Brandon Stansell.

 

27 Live at L27 Rooftop Lounge

 

THURSDAY, JUNE 7, 7 PM - 11 PM
LOCATION: L27 ROOFTOP LOUNGE FREE

Located on the rooftop of The Westin Nashville, L27 is kicking off a live music concert series, 27 Live, to occur the first Thursday of the month from May through October. Featuring one DJ and one musical artist performing at each event, the evening will begin at 7 pm. The series is free to the public, but space is limited. Performers on June 7 are Bishop Gunn and DJ Heath Haynes.

 

Minimalism: Chromatics Gallery Opening Reception

 

THURSDAY, JUNE 7, 6 PM - 8 PM
LOCATION: CHROMATICS PHOTO IMAGING FREE

Chromatics Second Floor Gallery presents "Minimalism," an intriguing collection of work by 22 artists, exploring the art movement of Minimalism through photography, painting and sculpture. The public is invited to come enjoy the show and meet the artists. Artists include Bill Lindsley, Bill Scott, Bob McReynolds, C. Al Wood, David L. Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North every Tuesday and Thursday! The trucks serve lunch from 11 am to 2 pm. The food truck line-up is usually posted herePlease note: road closure associated with this event. Deaderick Street (from 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue) will be closed from 10 am - 2:30 pm on the day of the event.

 

Nick Swardson: Too Many Smells 2018 Tour

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 9, 8 PM
LOCATION: TPAC - TENNESSEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER $39.50

The road to success has been a steady climb for Nick Swardson, who started his career in St. Paul/ Minneapolis, then on to New York and Los Angeles, where he first found success by writing "Malibu's Most Wanted" for Warner Brothers and by featuring in the hit Comedy Central series RENO 911. After catching the attention of Happy Madison Productions, he quickly became a fixture in the company, writing or co-writing and producing such projects as "Grandma's Boy," "Benchwarmers" and co-producing "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" with Adam Sandler and Kevin James. More recently Nick has performed in movies such as “That’s My Boy,” “Blades of Glory,” “30 Minutes or Less,” and “Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star,” which he wrote, starred in, and produced. His first CD/DVD, "Party", on Comedy Central Records (produced by Happy Madison) went platinum. He followed that up in 2010 with his first one-hour stand-up special on Comedy Central, “Seriously who Farted.” In addition to his career in film and in the world of Stand Up Comedy, Nick continues to have a prolific career in television.

 

City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game

A 28-year tradition in Nashville during the CMA Music Festival, City of Hope’s Celebrity Softball Game regularly features some of country music’s biggest and hottest stars and beyond. This year, country music artist Lauren Alaina, actress and producer Megan Alexander, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, Drew and Jonathan Scott of "Property Brothers" and many more will take to the field in support of City of Hope’s lifesaving mission. 

 

River On The Rooftop

 

MONDAY, JUNE 11, NOON
LOCATION: JASON ALDEAN'S KITCHEN + ROOFTOP BAR FREE

iHeartMedia’s 107.5 The River will host their River on the Rooftop concert series at a brand new venue, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar at 311 Broadway. The free three-part concert series, with dates on June 11, June 25 and July 23, will feature performances from Bebe Rexha, Alessia Cara, Maren Morris, Bazzi, MAX, Madison Beer, Cash Cash, The Vamps, Loote and more. All shows are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis until the rooftop patio is at capacity. Beat Traffic on B-cycle

The best way to buzz through traffic and road closures is via Nashville B-cycle! Look for the bright red bikes located at 36 B-stations around town. The $5 access pass includes an unlimited number of trips that are 60 minutes or less over a 24-hour period. The 7-day pass is only $10 and an annual membership is $50. TIP: keep all rides under 60 minutes to avoid overage fees. B-cycle has a responsive website and an app.

Clean and Safe Request Form

If you notice something amiss while walking downtown, let us know! Report graffiti that needs to be removed, public sidewalks that need pressure washing, weeds, trash and other unsightly items. Use this form to send a request directly to our Clean and Safe Team manager. Please note: these services are only available in the CBID and the GBID (maps of these areas are provided on the form page).
