Enjoy live music outside in Public Square, located in front of the Metro Courthouse! This year's Live on the Green is capped with a three-day festival finale with two stages showcasing 25 artists throughout the weekend. Headliners include Dr. Dog on Thursday, August 30, X Ambassadors on Friday, August 31 and Jimmy Eat World on Saturday, September 1. Click here for the complete schedule of performers. Blankets, folding chairs, strollers and water bottles are welcome at this free four-week concert series. $10 parking is available in the Metro Courthouse parking garage, located directly below the park, and in Nissan Stadium Lot E and Lot F for $5. Or, take advantage of the free bicycle parking.

- James Robertson Parkway (3rd Avenue North to Metro Courthouse parking entrance): one lane (eastbound traffic) will be closed from 9 am - midnight each day, with the exception of 4 pm - 6 pm for rush hour on Thursday, August 30 and Friday, August 31
- Union Street (3rd Avenue North to 1st Avenue North): two lanes (westbound traffic) will be closed from 6 pm Wednesday, August, 29 until 6 am Sunday, September 2
- Woodland Street Bridge (Union Street to Nissan Stadium parking lots): total street closure from 6 pm - 11 pm on Thursday, August 30; 5 pm - 11 pm on Friday, August 31; and noon - 11 pm on Saturday, September 1
- Deaderick Street (3rd Avenue North to 5th Avenue North): total street closure from 2 pm - 11 pm on Thursday, August 30; 1 pm - 11 pm on Friday, August 31; and 9 am - 11 pm on Saturday, September 1
- 3rd Avenue North (James Robertson Parkway to Union Street): total street closure from 6 pm Wednesday, August, 29 until 6 am Sunday, September 2

The Tennessee Titans will take on the Minnesota Vikings at Nissan Stadium on Thursday, August 30. Please note: road closures associated with this event. The Woodland Street Bridge will close beginning at 4 pm and will be available to only pedestrians and shuttle buses through the conclusion of the game. Plus, the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge will be open to eastbound and westbound traffic until the beginning of the fourth quarter. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, westbound traffic on the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge will be open for game traffic only. All other westbound traffic will be diverted at South 4th Street and I-24.

Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North every Thursday! The trucks serve lunch from 11 am to 2 pm. The food truck line-up is usually posted here. Please note: road closure associated with this event. Deaderick Street (from 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue) will be closed from 10 am - 2:30 pm on the day of the event.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 7 PM - MIDNIGHT
LOCATION: BRIDGESTONE ARENA FREE
Big Machine Vodka and Bridgestone Arena will host an After Dark event on the plaza at the arena. The party features nonstop beats by DJ AJ Kang, Big Machine Vodka drink specials (including their famous Frozen Lemonade Vodka Slushies) and free swag bags to the first 25 people to show up at the Big Machine Vodka trailer.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 4 PM - 6 PM

Watch the Hermitage Hotel's Grand Lobby come alive every Friday this summer with their Music in the Lobby Summer Series! Attend on Fridays from 4 pm - 6 pm through August 31 for free live, local music. Enjoy a delicious refreshment as you get a taste of Nashville's vibrant music scene.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 6 PM - 9 PM

Art galleries throughout downtown host receptions and art openings every month. Most galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. See this month's gallery map.
Enjoy live music by singer Larysa Jaye and pianist Sarah Leon. Participate at the Plaza Art Community Art Station located on the platform near The Arts Company on 5th. Plaza Art will host a "paint-by-number" cityscape of Nashville. Art crawl attendees and passersby are invited to paint a portion of the canvas as they travel from gallery to gallery. Get your photo made at the International Black Film Festival's photo booth. Plus, Parnassus' book mobile, Peggy, will be parked on 5th. And, the Chestnut Group, an outdoor painting group, will be onsite. Transportation option: two Gray Line Art Crawl Downtown Trolleys will provide complimentary shuttle service along the route from 6 pm - 10 pm. You can purchase parking in advance here. Plus, be a part of the movement and post your pictures under these amazing walls: 144 5th Avenue North, 530 Church Street and 213 3rd Avenue North.
Please note: road closure associated with this event. The southbound lane on 5th Avenue North (Church Street to Union Street) will be closed beginning as early as 3 pm and ending as late as 10 pm on Saturday, September 1.

The Nashville Sounds are excited to host a Paradise Park pop-up at First Tennessee Park. On Saturday, September 1, during the game against the Memphis Redbirds, Paradise Park will be popping up with live music by The Otherside, beer specials, their famous hand-dipped corn dogs, tots, and more at The Band Box. Fans can buy a special package for $25 that includes a general admission ticket, a Paradise Park souvenir pitcher, and a free food item at the Band Box.

The Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce's presents their 4th Annual Empanada Tasting Event at the historic War Memorial Auditorium. Explore the flavor, culture, and rich diversity of our region's thriving Latin American communities while supporting Latino-owned businesses and enjoying a delicious variety of empanadas, music, and more. With each $25 advance ticket you get four empanadas, a dessert, and a soft drink or water. Additional snacks and drinks will be available from concessions. Proceeds from this event support TLACC, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Nashville which works to be the leading voice on business issues relating to the Latino community across Tennessee.
