Enjoy a gathering of up to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North every Thursday! The trucks serve lunch from 11 am to 2 pm. The food truck line-up is usually posted herePlease note: road closure associated with this event. Deaderick Street (from 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue) will be closed from 10 am - 2:30 pm on the day of the event.

Night Market

Relax and unwind at Night Market, a monthly event that takes place on the third Friday at the Nashville Farmers' Market both outside under the sheds as well as inside the Market House. Enjoy an evening of shopping, sipping, dancing to live music, kids' activities and eating—all with local food artisans, artists, crafters, flea merchants, farmers and food trucks. Everyone is welcome, including dogs on leashes. Overflow parking is available after 5 pm in the state parking lots.

 

PARK(ing) Day

PARK(ing) Day is a global initiative to turn parking spaces into mini parks across cities worldwide. The mission of PARK(ing) Day is to call attention to the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate around how public space is created and allocated, and to improve quality of life. 80+ parking spaces in Nashville will be transformed into little public parks on Friday, September 21 from 9 am - 5 pm. Visit and relax in these elaborate, fun, and creative temporary parks that will be located throughout downtown Nashville and the Gulch.

 

35th Annual Nashville Home Show

LOCATION: MUSIC CITY CENTER $10

Head to Music City Center from Friday, September 21 to Sunday, September 23 for the 35th Annual Nashville Home Show. This upscale, three-day consumer event features almost every type of home product or service. Experts in the areas of decorating, interior and exterior design, landscaping, building, home improvement and many others will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance to attendees. Plus, many exhibitors offer discounted prices and sell direct from the exhibit floor.

 

Nashville Predators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning Preseason Game

Head to Bridgestone Arena on Friday, September 21 to watch the Nashville Predators take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in their first 2018-19 preseason game on home ice.

 

Nashville Brew Festival

 

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 7 PM - 11 PM
LOCATION: FIRST TENNESSEE PARK $40 - $60

The Nashville Brew Festival will take place on the field and throughout the concourse of First Tennessee Park on September 21 from 7 pm - 11 pm. The event will feature over 50 breweries, including Nashville’s best breweries, as well as food trucks, music, lawn games and more. Both general admission ($40) and VIP ($60) will include unlimited beer, with VIP attendees having early admission and access to specialty beer poured during the first hour. Food will be sold separately.

 

St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer

 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 8 AM
LOCATION: NISSAN STADIUM $10 WALK; $20 RUN

St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. In September, supporters from across the nation come together for the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise money for the kids of St. Jude, where families never receive a bill for anything. Nashville's Walk/Run event will take place on Saturday, September 22. Click here to register.

 

Downtown Architecture Trolley Tour

 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 11 AM
LOCATION: FRIST ART MUSEUM $10 FRIST ART MUSEUM MEMBERS; $12 NON-MEMBERS

Learn more about the architecture of downtown Nashville on this guided trolley tour, inspired by the Frist's exhibition Image Building: How Photography Transforms Architecture. Led by Kem Hinton of Tuck-Hinton Architects, this one-hour tour will look at Nashville’s changing landscape from the perspectives of history and design.

Love pools, craft cocktails, and good movies? Pinewood Social hosts Dive-In Movies, a movie night on the outside patio area around the dipping pools. Movies begin around 9 pm. Admission and popcorn are free. The showing on September 25 is The Lost Boys.

 

Courtyard Concerts: Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley

The Library's hit music series is back for another season! Bring a lunch to the courtyard and enjoy free music by top acts in many genres on Tuesdays through October 9. Tuesday, September 25 features a performance by Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley. The duo honed their skills at the Station Inn with vocal guests like Vince Gill and Carl Jackson, and has also performed around the world.

 

6th Annual Farmhand Dinner

 

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 6 PM - 9 PM
LOCATION: NASHVILLE FARMERS' MARKET $100+

The Nashville Farmers' Market is celebrating the end of a successful summer with its farmers, friends, families and community members. The 6th annual Farmhand Dinner will offer guests a unique opportunity to learn more about the Nashville Farmers' Market while enjoying a family-style, five-course meal with the men and women who prepared it. The Farmhand Dinner features the collective efforts of many local chefs who will create a casual, yet inspiring Southern meal made with fresh ingredients grown by the Market's local farmers.

 

The DISTRICT's Progressive Party

 

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 5:30 PM - 10 PM

The 32nd annual Progressive Party begins at HQ Beercade (114 2nd Ave S), continues to Ole Red (300 Broadway) and ends at Nashville Underground (105 Broadway). The event includes delicious food, libations and music at every stop. Plus, Elizabeth Mayhall will receive the Spirit of The DISTRICT Award at 8 pm at Ole Red, and there will be an extensive silent auction at Nashville Underground. Free parking will be provided by SP+ Parking at Commerce Garage A (310 Commerce Street). This event serves as annual fundraiser in support of The DISTRICT's mission and helps fund community projects.

 

Dinner by the Bridge

 

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 6 PM
LOCATION: CUMBERLAND PARK $200+

The 12th annual Dinner by the Bridge is a fundraiser that benefits Greenways for Nashville. Now held on the Cumberland River Greenway at the foot of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, this riverfront location features a serene nighttime atmosphere, and a spectacular vantage point for enjoying the city's skyline. Join for a lovely cocktail hour and enjoy the downtown views at 6 pm. Seating for dinner will begin at 7 pm. Proceeds go toward creating, developing, protecting, preserving and promoting greenways in Nashville.
